Not a new season but the same author has another light novel series being adapted now, Golden Time. I am looking forward to seeing it.

Yes! I have been reading both the light novel and manga versions of Golden Time and am very eagerly awaiting the anime adaptation!

(The novels are far superior to the manga, btw. The manga changes up the order of revelations of things and doesn't start the with the opening prologue from the novel, which changes a lot of the early chapters in terms of tone. I hope the anime follows the novel storyline!!!)

I have to throw in Welcome to the NHK though I will admit, it's sense of humor is definitely darker in certain places and the overall themes are edgier but definitely has some of the funniest moments that I have ever watched in any anime.

If your looking for a great romance anime that is more melodramatic then check out Ef a Tale of Memories and a Tale of Melodies. 2 of my personal favorites

I am reading the novels in Japanese.

I always go for the genbun, the original text which is sometimes the manga. Sometimes I buy the manga just for the artwork but don't bother with the abridged storyline.

I know how you feel man. TORADORA is prob one of the greatest romatinc animes that I have ever say. Its simplie and pure love, nothing too fancy. what they have been looking for have been right there in front of them the whole time. There adventures togethers, just hanging out, and having fun in daily life, was awesome to see. how they grew with each other, and the people around them I never forget this anime, alot of emotion in it.

Yeah, Toradora was amazing... just watch something else romantic comedy. I'd recommend Sakurasou no Pet na Konojo, it's similar but unique. Or watch something fun. Pretty much listen to everyone here XD

Toradora is easily my favorite rom com. Sakurasou is probably number 2 and Kaichou wa Maid Sama! number 3. Another that I really enjoyed that I haven't seen mentioned yet is Mayoi Neko Overrun.

It's a great series. Just make sure you watch past the end credits in the last episode.

Haha yeah. SO many people miss that and then say it has a bad ending.

I did the same thing lol and now my opinion on the ending has changed.

Just finished this series , now I keep calling her the Palm Top Tiger ! She happens to be only 5' 1 1/2" tall , I'm 6' . And she had the same temper as her (hasn't calmed much) when we were dating & now married since 1982 . Trying to get her to watch it but she hates subtitles ! Also I watched Angel Beats before this one . It took me 2 weeks to get over the "man tears" on that one too... LOVED The beach episode(s) on Toradora !

It's weird. I'm glad this show seems to be loved so much these days, I recently watched it again and was blown away with just how above-average it actually is for a high-school romantic comedy! There are better shows I've seen for sure, but not in the same genre. It's funny, because I remember a few years ago it was kind of emblematic of "all of the problems with anime today" on 4chan and stuff, when in retrospect it really is a cut above the rest. Taiga being a "generic tsundere" was cited, but really, she's probably one of the best-executed of that character type because she actually has the requisite psychological damage to make it realistic.

I don't really remember that... I remember this anime as just one of the best ones out there.

I thought this was one of those majorly popular series that a lot of people like. It's probably one of the best for its genre along with Full Metal Panic and Bakuman.

This was definitely a great anime.

Skimming through the previous pages (I know, shoulda done that earlier, I'm bad), I noticed that Kimi ni Todoke was brought up - I actually think that one is even better than Toradora! so I DEFINITELY recommend giving it a watch.
