Bandai Marathon Time!

Since I plan to only make time for one of them before it expires, which version do you recommend? Well, that very much depends. I enjoy subbed anime much more now than I do dubbed. It's a preference of style. I think most, not all, subs are superior to their English dubs. Some people don't like subs and would rather listen to the dialogue in English. If you like dubs, the one for Geass isn't bad, but I still prefer the Sub. I usually prefer the sub too in most if not all cases. Usually the only time I watch the dubs is on TV or when that's all that is available, such as Eureka Seven, GITS: SAC (Here's a Bandai title with no listed expiration date.) and Blood+ on Hulu. However, I remember thinking that the dub of Blood+ was exceptionally good. If that is also the case with Code GEASS, I thought I might take advantage since both versions are available. Since you said that it "isn't bad" though, which to me means nothing worthwhile, I guess I'll just go with the sub. Thanks for the response. |

NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I've already watched these series, but I enjoyed looking over them again and I hate to see them go. Don't blame Crunchyroll for this stuff, Bandai's anime division has gone out of business in the US, so there is simply no way for Crunchyroll to hang onto this stuff.

I can't say I'm surprised with Bandai disappearing and all. In my case, I've already watched all that I want to and own the DVDs for those that I liked. Still, it's sad to see more titles going bye-bye. Hopefully some of the titles get rescued. I wouldn't be surprised if Code Geass gets rescued at some point.

This is why I like owning DVD's.
I was wondering with Bandi's (america) collapse the license to stream was going to expire / be pulled. I tracked down the majority of the series I wanted them already before it got too expensive, still had to pay a bit higher then retail to finish my Scrapped Princess & Gundam 00. It's not Crunchyroll's fault. It's Bandai/Sunrise's fault. They are bringing all their shows they can back to Japan. Which makes me think that maybe they are having financial problems. They want people to import or are looking for people to sell it on DVD.
