Okay it's Christmas time once again, and as with every other X-mas season, it just doesn't feel complete without watching certain holiday specials. A friend somewhat sheepishly admitted to me today that he had bought the "Charlie Brown Christmas" on DVD because it's his favorite. So be honest, what is your holiday guilty pleasure?

Mine is Scrooge w/ Albert Finney.

I did the same thing. I also got a couple of DVDs of the claymation, stop motion animation Christmas shows from way back when. I'm trying a lot of other things this year; music, videos, going to see lights, going to every Christmas party....just to try and feel something.....like I used to.....so far it's not working, and I think I'm getting depressed .......my last hope is Midnight Mass. It's something that I have done since a kid and Christmas isn't Christmas without it......Midnight is special. I've been to Christmas Mass at other times, but it just isn't the same.

Oh.... "Elf" is my favorite Christmas movie.

I'm no longer religious, and I don't even celebrate most holidays. I also don't have anything against those who do; it's just my personal preference.

That said, I usually watch Santa Vs. the Snowman around this time every year.

I watch Sci-Fi during X-mas, and horror during Easter.

This X-mas it will be Krull, Space Hunter, and Alien.
Easter we do "Happy Zombie Jesus Day" and have Zombie flick marathons at a friends house for 48 hours. Last year about 30 people showed up.

A Christmas Story, Charlie Brown, Home Alone, Elf, and Christmas episodes of various anime series. Lol my newer tradition has been to watch The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya because it takes place during Christmastime, and is such a great movie! (^o^) (Lol watching it with my anime club at our Christmas party this year! XD)

Lol best Elf quote: "The yellow ones don't stop!" lol so true... XD

You make me want to go watch Home Alone 2 this very minute. I also like National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and Scrooged (It has Bill Murray).

I just have to watch The Nightmare before Christmas the day before Christmas. My Christmas isn't complete without that movie.
