In the nights leading up to Christmas I watch 4 versions of A Christmas Carol starting with Scrooged, then Mickey's Christmas Carol, then A Muppet Christmas Carol, and finally finishing up with the 1970 Scrooge. It's by far my favorite Christmas story.

I also make sure to watch the other classic Christmas movies. Like Die Hard, Gremlins, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Home Alone, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and of course How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the animated one).

Suffice to say, I really love Christmas.

Okay it's Christmas time once again, and as with every other X-mas season, it just doesn't feel complete without watching certain holiday specials. A friend somewhat sheepishly admitted to me today that he had bought the "Charlie Brown Christmas" on DVD because it's his favorite. So be honest, what is your holiday guilty pleasure?

Mine is Scrooge w/ Albert Finney.

Mine would have to be "A Christmas Story" (1983) If you have not seen it I highly commend it, it's one of the most iconic American Christmas films.

Everyone seems to love this film. I have seen it several times, but I just can't get in to it. With the exception of the tongue to the metal post scene, it is priceless.

My favorites have to be Charlie Brown Christmas and any winter themed penuts movies. It wasn't a bad tree at all.
The animated How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Scrooged, I love Bill Murray
And any animated version of the Christmas Carol.

"It's a wonderful life" a really old film and not entirely xmas movie material

had to watch it in History class.....it was brilliant, touching. I really thought it was just going to be another boring black&white film. It feels similar to "A Christmas Carol" and I recommend it this holiday!!! If you've seen it you knowwwwww wat i'm talking about!! shocking, riteeee??
