Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer is always a family tradition movie on ABC Family that my mother and I would watch, and we'd also watch the Life and Adventures of Santa Claus. I find these movies to be family tradition and if they were ever broken.... life would be lost.

Well, there's a Charlie Brown Christmas; definitely a favorite of mine. Then there's Elf and Home Alone.
And for some odd reason, every Christmas season I always happen to catch "Christmas comes to Pac-Land" when it airs on Cartoon Network or Boomerang. The cartoon is silly, but I like Pac-Man, so it's fun to watch.

However, there is one that I never see on television anymore. It is probably one of my all-time favorites; a Muppet Family Christmas. There are a number of Muppet Christmas movies, but I adored this one. It brought the Muppets, the Seasame Street crew, and Fraggle Rock all together for a fun and wonderful half-hour Christmas special. If it is still shown on TV, I can never seem to find it... I do have it on video though.

The nightmare before Christmas, it's the only Christmas themed film I can watch without wanting to fall asleep. I can never get into the traditional Christmas movies.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, also I've recently (past 2 years) added Muppet Christmas Carrol to the list.

One is the proper meaning of Christmas and the other is how it usually goes down, minus the SWAT team.

In terms of cartoons I love Annabell's Wish, Small One (an underrated don bluth cartoon about the donkey that ended up carring Mary), and for the sake of olden times, 'Tis the Season to Be Smurfy
