depends on how many episodes they plan to have, and how many they plan to allot to Bullet Dance. if they have enough episodes and decide to give some time to Mother's Rosario, then there will be plenty of Asuna. just not during the Bullet Dance arc.

Minor part in the GGO story and she does not go into the game itself. Not going into too much, but this is more about dealing with Kirito's demons still left over from the SAO event, an old enemy returning (not saying who, but it is glorious), and the new character Sinon and her own personal demons and trying to face them. It is overall really good stuff, however.

Now, Asuna plays a HUGE role in Mother's Rosario, however, and we get a ton of her own back story and her own character development away from Kirito. Not sure if they will cover that part in the new anime or not. Personally, that story is contained so perfectly that it would make more sense to have it as a movie due to pacing issues that could arise from it being animated for a series.

Thanks very much for the answer, I haven't watched SAO itself yet. But I plan to before GGO comes out.

So did Asuna/Suguha become a man?

Is Klein/Agil a girl now?

Warning before going into the first series. There may be some very noticeable pacing issues due to how fast events go, which results in confusing character motivations at points that are not well explained. I am sure you heard quite a few people bash on the series, but it isn't THAT bad, really. There are some pretty significant faults, though, especially in the second half. However, if you end up liking the anime enough, I would recommend reading the Light Novels afterward, just because any question you may have had about the series while watching it will probably be answered in there. Things will definitely make more sense when it comes to character motivations, anyway.

Hearing this i would love to see that Player killer Lady with the red/pink hair ( Forgot her name so sue me ) to be this enemy that comes back for revenge. Even though she of course was a bitch and killed people in SAO, she had a personality that i hated and liked at the same time. This is my prediction ( I never read LN or Manga so i only know what i have seen in the anime so no need to worry about me spoiling anything. )

On a side note is reading the LN or manga worth it? I never read it since it is in Japanese and you have to read the book backwards. It is one of those things that just bugs me for some reason.

I will just say this. You will NOT be disappointed with who it is. That will be all you are getting. ;)

The manga is awful. Do NOT read the manga. The Light Novels are most DEFINITELY worth reading. However, the place I used to go to read them no longer have the first six volumes up after Yen Press got the licensing rights to release the light novels into English (Vol. 1 comes out next month... gotta pre-order that one... XD) If you can find them, go read them. They give you A LOT of details the anime cut out for some reason, ESPECIALLY from the Aincrad and ALO stories.

Well let me ask this then, If you had to pick one character from the SAO and ALO arc to return and have a prominent roll to play what people would you choose?

As described in the light novel, Kirito's avatar, the M9000 has exactly the same appearance than the F1300 avatar. Which can mean technically, a girl who has the F1300 would look identical to Kirito. (Hence the reason Sinon didn't recognize him as a guy)

Hope it clears some confusion for the people who only watched the anime.

They will surely include Mother's Rosario since it would be nearly impossible for them to stretch a mere 2 volumes in 24 episodes. GGO will take approximately 12-14 episode, and then it would probably be "Mother's Rosario" for 7-9 episodes and "Early and Late" for 3 episodes.

Now it would be awesome if they made 2 more seasons (48 episodes) on Project Alicization!

I don't think that word is being used right.
