Hearing about this is so sad and scary, I have a little boy so stuff like this just makes me so sad. Those poor children. I just don't understand people who go on shooting rampages, if you're that unhappy just take yourself out, leave everyone else out of it.

This is why they should allow guns to be carry by Teachers, or some trusted staff to carry a gun. Every single person in that school is unarmed that's why so many people are dead. Had the teacher, principal carry the gun themselves they can prevent themselves and many kids from dying.

They only allow cops to have guns, and many of the U.S. cops are coward. And only chased after kids who do Graffiti rather than people who are actually committing real crimes. They spend more times in 7/11 and A.M. P.M. than patrolling.

This massacre could have been prevent if the teacher were arm themselves.

You can say the teachers could go rouge and kill everyone but it isn't like the teacher can't just bring a gun to school and start shooting everyone, it isn't hard to obtain a gun. So it's better for them to have a gun prepare in school for cases like this.

You cannot ban guns, people will finds way to sell it illegally which will actually help the Triads, Mafia, Russian Mafia, Organization that Traffik firearm.

I can't imagine that working out very well.I'm guessing these people ( I think there was 2) planned this all out. They probably went in knowing what they were going to do. I don't know about this incident but the man during the Black knight shooting had full body armour on.

Teachers aren't trained weapon experts. They'd have been caught off-guard and the resulting shoot-out probably would have just ended in even more loss of life. Having a gun for protection doesn't automatically turn you into Rambo with a sharp aim, most people panic.

But, like I said, I think the time for the US to ban guns has long past, it's too late now that so many people have them. Maybe start sending kids into school with body armour or something because stories like these, while tragic, aren't even that shocking anymore.

My prayers go to those who have lost their loved ones in the shooting . . .

I don't know why that/those guy(s) had to involve the other students and staff . He could've just solved his own problems calmly by having a chat with his parents D:
But then again, he might be mentally ill :/

So much for it being legal to carry concealed weapons.

That's a constitutional amendment. I'd like to see Obama try to remove that. He would be impeached so quick.

Before anyone points out how bigoted that statement is, I already know, and I don't give a shit. I have a burning hatred after finding out about this.

Hey you've just said fuck the kids who got killed too. But whose counting.

Not like anybody in England has been massacred either. Hey, I'm carbofail, lets judge an entire hemisphere based on mentally unstable individuals. Not like that's most retarded idea in all of history or anything.

Slow your roll asshole! We understand as a country that the guns are an issue but you can keep your uninformed opinions to yourself. Last time I checked your racist football hooligans are no better than our "west" nut jobs. It's easy to look at the negatives when it's not your people.

Let's not overlook the fact that there was aslo a guy running around stabbing children in China. West, East, North, South, crazies are everywhere. Your outrage is totally justified and shared by millions of people right now, but let's direct it where it should be directed. Every adult is responsible for his or her own actions, nobody else. People can make excuses for them, but that's all they are. Excuses.

The town I live in is right next to where this happened, I have family that went to that school, and know many people from that town. These people whom you so eloquently refer to as "the west" feel way more strongly about this than you do. (I know, nobody feels anything stronger than you right?) Your ignorant comments stemming from your "burning hatred" are just adding fuel to a fire that nobody needs to have stoked. I think I can speak for everyone in my area right now when I say we don't need any more burning hatred right now, thank you very much.

My heart goes out to the victims' families and their community. Numerically speaking this may only be the 2nd worst school incident in the history of the country, but the fact that it involved children so young makes it easily just as horrific and unthinkable. Those of you who pray, please keep these folks in your prayers.

I do put that into account. That's why i mentioned that they should also train the teachers to handle a gun. Even if they're wearing body armor, there are spot which the body armor do not cover. Like the face, finger. I just saying they should though. I don't think they could as it would take a lot of time and money.

They could train the teacher to be prepare in that situation. If the teachers are trained to be prepare for these situation, as soon as they heard gun shot. They know what they need to do if they are armed.

Of course i understand that you don't become invincible but having a gun gives more chance of them surviving rather than unarmed. A school full of unarmed teachers and students help the killers having an easier time killing everyone. If the teacher were armed, it will hold back the Killers a little bit and give them time to call the police. And yes people panic, but someone who is train will react to the situation quicker than someone who are never prepare for it at all.

He's probably in on some bandwagon of "I Hate The West. Fuck all of you." that circulates now and again. Maybe he's actually being serious, but then, hate is such a strong word I'm pretty sure that's not what he's feeling.. or disgust for that matter.

That sounds really extreme though. People go into the teaching profession because they enjoy working with children and educating people. Asking them to have weapons training as though they were soldiers on the off-chance of a lunatic walking in seems very odd.

But I'm not an American so maybe the situation over there does warrant those kind of extreme steps for all I know. Even police in my country don't carry guns so from my perspective whole idea of armed teachers a bit mad.

And what if one day a teacher went ballistic and just took out a whole class of kids?
