What is your one wish if you were given one to change your past?

I'd stop myself from epically failing in the one relationship I've had.

Sure, the older folks would probably be saying 'oh, you're only 15', but it still feels like a wasted opportunity which isn't going to come around again for some time...

To have made a habit out of sword training. This wish may be null since this is (one of) my goal(s) for Summer.
It feels so nice dancing through the yard, blade a flurry!

It's tempting to go back and fix my screw-ups but if I did that, I would be a totally different person today. I am happy where I am and with who I've become. Whatever happened in the past is what brought me to this moment right now so I would have to pass. I'll leave my past the way it is. I can live with the secrets if only to keep this life I've made for myself.

I'm happy with who you've become too.
I agree though.. I don't really have much interest in changing my past, though I would think it would be neat just to go back and see myself as a kid, doing kid stuff.

Although... maybe I would stop myself from being a dummy and breaking both of my arms in elementary...

Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same group with all the other posters that realize changing anything in the past would make them an entirely different person. There's no doubt a wish to change the past is a tempting proposal. Like most people I've made a multitude of mistakes in my life, ultimately fighting, and failing my way to where I am today, but in the process I've learned an awful lot about myself. If I had to make a wish it would just be a simple second chance, but with all the knowledge, pain, and scars I've accumulated over the years at my disposal.

I realize as I'm answering this question it's a dangerous thought process, it's far better to understand that the decisions we've made shape who we are, and there is always time to change if you desire to do so. I shall remain an example of what not to do, and hopefully be of some help to others in the future.

Be more social and speak up more. But then again, if it wasn't for being anti-social I would've never discovered anime.
