I have ulcerative colitis and I guess it affects .5-24.5/100,000 people worldwide. I am among only about 15% of those affected by it in severity as well.

I've got Asperger's Syndrome.
I constantly think about the very same stuff every single day.
It's like my brain is always on autopilot or something like that.
And my blood type is AB-Negative, which only about 0.5 % of the world's population got the same blood type as myself, I just wrote this because of sheer boredom, which probably is quite unnecessary to write down. :P

My brother was just diagnosed with Asperger's this year. He is high-functioning, so people just think that he is faking it. Do you get the same reaction from people who do not understand?
Back to the main topic, I do not know if this is rare, but I have a genetic disorder. My right ear did not form right, so I cannot hear low sounds out of my right ear. I cannot be near crowds or loud noises because my ear does not register noises right.

I don't think its rare or anything but I have Intentional Tremors, but I wouldn't say I'm suffering from it as I've lived with it all my life

Yeah, I have tremors and I don't consider myself suffering from it too because its just shaking. I find it helps with gaming (pressing buttons really fast) and warming one self up during winter. Also, its probably useful IN other places (girls - with the vibrating hand/fingers and all) LOL :P

EDIT: Yeah, obviously I'm a virgin...

LOL I haven't heard that one in a long time! Only thing I guess I can say that counts as suffering is the constant remark "soo...you do it intentionally then?" its a pain of having to repeatedly explain it to others

Yeah, I've had that happen to me a number of times. Its also annoying when I'm nervous or slightly cold then I uncontrollably shake a lot and I've had people think I was having a seizure lol. But, yeah repeatedly explaining it to others gets annoying.

Schizophrenia is actually incredibly rare, but a lot of people fake having it. I don't play around.
Another thing, it's technically not a medical disease, but i love the taste of blood

I have Dysnomia. It's a condition* where I have trouble recalling words when I'm talking/writing. I completely freeze up and can't continue until I've remembered what I was trying to say.

*Coincidentally, I just took about 5 minutes to remember the word "condition."

I have Spina Bifida, it basically has to with my spinal cord not developing properly before birth. I don't think it's that rare and it varies in how it affects people. I have trouble walking so I use a wheelchair or sometimes crutches to get around. It sucks but I've learned to adapt, and I try to think of it as not being the worst thing I could have.

Doesn't everyone have some sort of rare disease?

I have Type 1 latex allergy, aka true latex allergy. Thank heavens it hasn't gotten to the anaphylaxis stage....yet. Ironically, most people who say they have a latex allergy are actually allergic to chemicals used in processing the latex, not to the natural rubber latex itself.

It's a pretty sucky condition, since they put rubber in pretty much EVERYTHING (clothes, medical equipment, food packaging, etc). And don't get me started on parties that have balloons hanging around. Basically, once those bitty latex particles get circulating in the air, suffering will commence.

I've also had naturally-occurring (not from injury or sports) patellofemoral pain syndrome in both knees for about 10 years. It's not particularly rare, but it's also kind of sucky.
