NatakeErru wrote: FLCL. Writers were tripping. Couldn't follow that crap, turned it off less than halfway through the first episode. Bobobobobobobobo.... doesn't deserve to be an anime..... - - Rock Lee and his Ninja Friends..... spin-off of the most filler-composed, repetitive, overhyped predictable anime ever........ need I say more? writers were genius if you can't understand simple human behavior that's your fault yo |

FLCL is one of the most funny, bizarre and interesting animes of all time. But i agree i'ts very hard to follow. If you don't have perfect subs you're going to miss a lot. Personally i love the guy with the south park eyebrows.

I'm just going to lay these on the table, not in any particular, terrible order:
Gantz (Just...why??) Garzey's Wing (might've been alright...if the writers intended it to be a comedy) Apocalypse Zero (I don't even...) These are just the ones that first come to mind. Stay tuned... |

On another note, I'm seeing a lot of nominees for too many typical popular Shounen series. Naruto? Bleach?? Rurouni Kenshin??? I mean, I'm no crazed fan of any of these and I can agree they drag on or have waaaay too much filler, but all I'm getting from this is a super-limited scope of what most would already consider stereotypical, overrated anime...it's like getting a review on something everyone already knows. Besides, there are plenty of nearly unheard of (and rightly so) shows, that are missing key components that even these shounen series seemed to scrape...like progress, and if we're lucky, plot! Want some examples? See my bad 3 listed in the previous post, you'll be begging to see more Naruto/One Piece filler

The worst I've watched lately has to be "Hayate Can't Take My Eyes Off This Train Wreck". I was willing to give the side story a shot, but it was DOA. The jump from Hayate No Gotoku to this was painful. The characters looked ridiculous. The way they pushed the story all the way up to the point it started was jarring as hell.
...and yes, I hate how my favorite characters were pushed to the background. |

By far the worst anime i've seen thus far was a little gem called Bokura ga Ita (We Were There). The first and only anime I've ever dropped.

It was fine until the last episode, which was either 12 or 13... That last one i should have listened to the comments and never watched.... Made no sense at all! School Days as well.. got 3 episodes in before i had to drop it.. Something just wasn't right with it. I know what happens in the end, but still just had to drop it. |
