But Gonzo ended up getting there hands on the rights to the anime, and there's a 50/50 chance that you will get a good anime out of Gonzo. Manga fans got the short end of the stick with this anime.

Of the anime that I sat all the way through and now think 'that's crap', I'd go for Magic Knight Rayearth. Each ep had it's own mini-filler of 'Umi!! Fuu!! Hikaru!!'. Of the anime I mostly liked, but _hated_ the ending - Escaflowne. Seriously, giving up your boyfriend that you'd just moved heaven and earth to be together with so you could spend time with your family - when you've got a damn magic rock that allows you to go back and forth at will? Haven't you heard of spending the week with family and weekends with the boyfriend??! And then there's the horrible ending - Berserk. That one made you want to break things.

I only wish I can make something as bad as those and be super rich. :D How about actually naming a really bad series instead of picking a well-known/successful one?
