I suppose everyone has their opinions, I guess. I was never a fan, and quite frankly, half the music and movies I dislike make millions, but that isn't gonna make me like them any better, you know? Same with anime.

Everything comes down to taste. What I'm trying to point out is that it is unfair to name a well-known series as "the worst" when there are hundreds, if not thousands, that are worse. Naruto certainly isn't a great series but compared to some that I've seen, it certainly isn't that bad.

There are many popular series that I certainly don't think much of that everyone are just raving about. One such example is Code Geass. I absolutely can't stand the characters, or over-the-top portrayal of the cultures/society. I find it kinda stupid but that's my personal opinion. It certainly has a decent plot. If I'd to name it as the worst just because I dislike it, especially since it is popular, then it'd be just as unfair. There are many far worse.

Also, take Sword Art Online, for example. It is a great series in my opinion. Tremendously successful and popular. Yet every time a topic like this crop up, there's bound to be someone who'd name it as the worst. Really? The Worst? That just make me laugh.

I see the point you are trying to make but... darkangel09rose, the thread opener, had asked "about the most horrible anime that made you want to scratch your eyes out?" In other words, just an opinion of what each of us personally doesn't like.

I submit that having your fingers gnawed off by weasels is preferable to watching Ikkitousen and I stand by that claim.

The ones I've watched and hated most were Myself;Yourself and Air.

I get a lot of hate when I talk shit about Air.

As an anime fan, the only genre I can't stand to watch is Trading Card Games Series and nothing is worse then The Whole of the Cardfight Vanguard Series (I Can't stand the show at all, the characters are awful and the game is bloody crap).

I watched nine episodes of the original series as any show Crunchyroll license in my region I tend to try (and the crunchyroll page at the time said it would be running for 13 episodes and if that's the case I tend to stick around - no matter how bad the show is). This is the 1st and only series that Crunchyroll has streamed that I have watched that I have QUIT

I've never met anyone apart from the owners of a store in my home town (Groovy Frog in Ramsgate, UK) who actually like this series (although I'm not a fan most people in my town that are into TCG play Yu-Gi-Oh) and they assure me that cardfight vanguard is the greatest anime series in recent years, I said you obviously haven't watched anything like Madoka Magica yet which they agreed they haven't

Natsuyuki Rendezvous was a recent one that got my lowest score of the year after I finished it (right with Arcana Famiglia) -.-

Gunslinger Girl. I just keep falling asleep and losing intrest in the show. I haven't seen anything too bad though.

Fist of the north star - This one is bad beyond belief, and the worst part is that i had friends who recommended it to me, i had friends =)
