If one cannot express their self using proper English and must resort to using obscenities "for effect" they are, I assure you, retarded.

Seriously, cursing makes you sound stupid. Avoid.

I guess it depends on "how" she swears xD But other than that, I don't mind.

Is fine every now and then but every sentence... no good. If she has a potty mouth when shes normal, I cant imagine when shes mad o.o;

I rarely swear. And by rarely, I'd say less than ten times per year.
I just don't like the feeling of it coming out of my mouth or as I'm writing.
It'd take a lot of emotion for me to have to resort to cursing.

But, I don't care if other people use it. It's their choice.
Just as long as they're not using it all the time with malice. It's not very pleasant.

I advise everyone to watch this video. It might seem long, but it's very interesting and it all pretty much makes sense, and is related to this matter.

It's a conversation between professional gamer Destiny (an extremely smart and well spoken fellow in my opinion), and another kids mother. The kids mother is having problems with her kid cursing.

This video may change some minds. It's fun to listen to either way.

So if you had a girlfriend/female friend, and about every other word or the majority of her speech she was saying swear words, is that attractive?

I can't fault anyone for swearing a lot. I used to have quite the potty mouth. However, I learned that when you swear all the time it loses it's meaning.

Maybe it is not so much the swearing words, but to what degree and how crude it sounds..and maybe just being really vulgar is the turnoff.

If every other word out of anyone's mouth is a cuss word, many people see that as as sign of low intelligence since you appear to lack any articulation. Well placed cuss words can be useful, but it's sort of like saying everyone is special. If everyone is special, then no one is special and the word loses its meaning. If you do nothing but cuss then your words mean less and less each time and eventually some people may not take you seriously.

Be tactful with words and they mean a lot more when used. That goes for anything you say, not just cuss words.
