It bothers me a lot as much as people smoking around me. I really find it very unattractive.

Depends.. i rarely ever swear and when i do its usually in my thoughts or for comedic reasons. I feel like i would like a woman who does the same, but if they're angry i can understand. its really not attractive when they're swearing at me though.. usually its for stupid reasons >///<

EL OH EL, I just swore like 100 times today :P

IDK, I don't like a nice girl image, I'd rather badass... there's something about not looking like your personality that I like in people, including myself

I don't personally assign swear words much meaning. The terms themselves aren't inherently "filthy" or "undesirable", it's the stubborn nature of sociality that renders them taboo. With this in mind, I do think that usage of swear words indicates a sort of weakness within the individual itself.

If you resort to the (largely useless) terminology of rage, then you may be mentally overwhelmed with the problem at hand and are succumbing to the savage instincts nature imposed on you. Impulse tends to wrestle with Intellect, and when cussing, you are granting the former a small victory. Hence, plentiful cussing may be indicative of an intellectual void - something I definitely do not find attractive.

This philosophy also renders me conveniently immune to most verbal insults. When you call me names, you aren't harming me in any way. You're simply confirming your personal surrender to the forces that have shaped you into a mentally weak being. No mean word you throw at me weighs on my shoulders - it's just another shovel's worth of dirt that you're heaving onto the grave of the person you could've been. Hateful rants aren't an attack on its recipient - they're a eulogy composed by the weak, for the weak.

'Course, that's only reasonably applicable to a fraction of all swear word usage. There are plenty of people that cuss simply because they want to cuss, and not because they can't stop themselves from giving in to blind rage. Thus, rationally, I ought to disregard the frequency of rants and hateful language in these matters to some extent. Yet there's always this silly issue of personal attraction, so, uh, let's just say that swear words are a big turn off for me.

Swear words are ugly in general, no matter who says them.

But there is more weight to a swear word used by someone who rarely uses them compared to someone who uses them all the time. If the "nice girl" starts threatening and cursing (without yelling) it is a bit more creepy and taken a lot more seriously. Also, and I am not saying I would put you into this category since I don't know you, I don't even consider girls who curse a lot to be "badass". I sort of see them as just being a bit trashy to be honest.

I generally try to watch my mouth, especially if I'm in public because I think when people swear every other word they sound like some 12 year old kid that thinks saying fuck every two seconds will make him sound cool. So that is a bit of a turn off if I'm around some girl who swears like a sailor.

I don't consider any word to be a "swear" word. Who says what is a swear word and what is not? So I would not think much of a girl swearing.

I find it funny when someone shouts of "fudge" instead of "F**k" since there is no difference, the meaning of shouting it is the same. Anger.

I don't really object to swearing - I'm hardly innocent of using it. But it can get on my nerves if it's used completely fucking unnecessarily, all the bloody time.

I gave up on watching Hot Tub Time Machine about half an hour in.

A Precision F-Bomb, on the other hand, can be really effective
