Er.. Why just women in the topic and not men? Is there still a difference between the two genders as far as swearing is concerned? Women and men are equal and should be judged equally in all matters including habits such as swearing. I personally find it equally unattractive in both genders when somebody swears every other word without real reason, but if somebody is truly angry and swears to express their feelings while maintaining a respectable point and decent vocabulary around the cuss words I don't see a problem. Even then though, their are plenty of great and expressive words to use in place of swears. I personally find the worst issue nowadays as far as popular speech goes is the use of (as mentioned previously) sexual innuendos. The number of times "penis", "vagina", and other terms comes up (not in a conversation that seriously has to do with any of these things really) is pretty crazy and it really makes people come across as immature. Every so often I might have joked around in a private setting with a close friend or friends using these terms, but there are a shocking amount of people in places like busy stores, restaurants, etc. that loudly and proudly proclaim the size and fine details of random people's (imaginary or not) sex organs or shout these terms in random outbursts of childishness. It just looks silly. Also, terms such as "rape" and such are used so casually today it is scary. These terms don't make anybody look "cool" or "funny" in my opinion. The fact that my 6 year old cousin will be playing his video game and shout "Aw man I just got raped by that guy!" is shocking and disgusting. This has become a common term used by young kids now and I hear it any time I am playing a video game with other people or watching others play. These terms are far more of a problem to me than the typical cuss words. These habits are not classy in men or women.

Excessive swearing is a turn off. I don't mind it if its just something that happens.

I swear A LOT, but I realize it's an unappealing habit. Just because you swear, doesn't mean you're unintelligent, and/or unattractive, in my opinion, but if you constantly let it slip out throughout all of your sentences, it's not the most elegant thing. I keep my gutter-mouth to a minimum.

Meh, I don't really care if someone curses in front of me but I'm trying to stop. After I let it slip in front of my sweet, 'ole grandma I knew I needed an intervention.

I'm not a fan if its more than occasional but thats the same way I feel about guys as well. I always agreed with that one Southpark episode that swearings more meaningful if you limit it.

I don`t see why people make such a BIG issue over swearing. We all do it in the end it`s human nature and it`s natural to swear if we feel frustration.

Thus, swearing is not a bad thing at all. It`s just natural. So what if somebody likes to cuss all the time, not your problem, that`s theirs.

I don't really care all that much. I don't understand why it is a gender thing. I also don't think it makes anyone classy or not classy.

I don't mind if she swears... As long as its by the moon and the stars that she will be there.
Like the shadow that's by my side.
For better or worse, till death do us part.
She'll love me with every beat of her heart.

kudos to anyone the one that actually gets it.
