Spirits are just beings from the higher dimensions. Beings from the higher dimension have much less physicality/materiality to them. Beings from the highers realms are composed of energy or quantum particles. Their materiality is quantum or energy based. I will eventually become a spiritual being without dieing and that will be soon.

I know that anything is possible. Now that I think about it, since I'm Christian I should think angels are real--but if angels are real, then demons and ghosts are real, which is why, I'm clueless.
I'm not sure if afterlife is real, either.

Well then that "being" will not be you, you will still be you in your body. What makes us us? Our mind, you can't go into a spiritual being without having your conscious with you. What is a soul? conscious. What is a "conscious" ? It's a part of your brain. That "being" you talk about is nothing more than energy and particles, but then again, that theory sounds utterly stupid, who came up with that xD? It's like saying a Zombie is human, but rather it has no conscious, therefore it's a Zombie.

But I guess this doesn't qualify as a legit metaphor, cause I suck at those, but it's almost as close to what I meant.

I honestly wish I could come to a solid conclusion about this. I grew up in a christian family but I have my doubts ya know? Deep down I can't say I'm a true believer, I mean I hear the stories and go to church and all of that, but I guess its just the way human beings are, were programmed to only believe something that can be proven true.

I hope there is an afterlife of some sorts, and there is more to life than just passing on your genetic material. Maybe someday well be able to figure it out for sure, but until then, or at least until I have some kind of spiritual enlightenment of my own, I really don't know

I think it's common for people to believe that each and every one of us is so in touch with our "selves" that there has to be somewhere where all of our experiences and personality end up, but it's wishful thinking really.

there are people who have Near death experience , they admitted having conscious while they are in coma and their stories resemble one another, one of them is a neurosurgeon and he said, he had no idea who he was, what is he doing, even his existence when he reached another dimension while his body is in a coma state, because his brain was not "working" and do not have consciousness of himself as he lived! hahah he felt that he is One with the dimension while other people that experienced that said they have a conscious mind of who they were. I believe there is afterlife not based on stories and books. But what the bible says.

Its true that evil is ruling on earth, just take a look around. Men weren't supposed to goven one another, those that back away from god falls have fallen badly. So i do believe in a very high being that exist but probably in another dimension. We have too much flaws to not admit that we need a savior, and sometimes miracles that are impossible happens. So why do we have the abilities to do so since we are so flawed and weak? there are just too much things to be known and possibly eternity is not enough to discover them. You ask me do i believe in afterlife? yes i do and believe in god
