If I had to pick, I'd rather be a gal than a dude any day.

Just to clarify, I don't really have an issue with women singing high, in that I find it annoying. It would be kind of unfair of me to feel that way, with some of the notes the male singers I listen to are hitting.
Rather, it seems unnecessarily restricting to the vocal lines they sing, and thus can get boring after a point. What annoys me are those that seem to focus on sounding nice or pretty rather than expressing the emotion of the song.

I had kind of forgotten about the Cranberries; used to hear them a fair bit when I was growing up though, and I like those songs and think she's a good singer.

I can't say I loved All Souls Night as a song, I just didn't feel it went anywhere, but her vocals work well in it even though they aren't what I prefer, and it wasn't a bad song.

Feist does have a nice voice, and an interesting delivery and some nice vocal lines. I could see myself listening to her sometime; she isn't what I usually look for, but variety is good.

Lack of variety is actually probably part of why I rate male vocals over with female vocals - I listen to a lot of metal and its offshoots. After the success Nightwish had with Tarja Turunen as their singer, it seems most metal bands with female singers are going for that style of vocals. I enjoy it in small doses, but after a while it gets a bit dull because all they have to work with are vocal lines. Fortunately, every now and then somebody like Kimberly Goss shows up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kx77IY5oAp4
I wish I knew more singers like her, but she seems to be a rarity.

I am actually pretty impressed with the vocals on that Kate Bush song, can you suggest an album to me?

I agree about Nightwish and Tarja Turunen, it's just not the same without her anymore... And that Kimberly Goss is pretty impressive! She sounds like she's really belting it out but still manages to sound great - often trying to belt like that will make it sound forced.

Thanks for clearing that up, I hadn't quite read it like that originally... and I agree with you on that point

As for recommending some Kate Bush... hmm... I like all her stuff about equally but I'd have to say her first album, The Kick Inside (1978) is my favorite (bonus: that's the one that has Wuthering Heights... and I just realized that there's whale song in at least 2 songs on that album ). Also, Violin - the song I put up in my original comment - comes from Never For Ever (1980). She's a special character; she has a unique voice and style and her music videos are... shall we say interesting ... she's a dancer too, so that plays into it.

The restroom can be full sometimes, and we can't just pee anywhere we please.

If you get injured, you will heal over time. Even if your leg gets cut off, it can be amputated. Psychological harm though, there's no escaping the scars in your mind.

'nuff said.

For males....There seems to be a tendency of being discriminated against/made fun of if you show weakness, I've found in relation to people I know, though it's lessened. Other problems can included having a tube in your wee wee if you need one and probably other stuff. In my opinion, the main reason I envy guys at all is no periods, but even then...Guys can have similar symptoms to pregnancy when their wife/girlfriend is pregnant and such from 'empathy pains'. My dad apparently had morning sickness when I was in my mom still o.o; Also, there's been research showing guys tend to be stronger still than women. I think that's pretty neat.

For women...People seem to push looks more, though they do that with guys too. Periods suck though. Seriously...They do. My main complaint for being a girl. Otherwise, I'm happy. After all, I can wear a skirt/dress and not get looked at like a freak I've met guys who wore pink and got laughed at, and I felt so bad for them ;-;

Oh, and research shows theirs still sex discrimination in the workplace and such...So that's another con in general.

the men's rest room line is never as long as the ladies room. and by anywhere i mean you can pee behind a bush or tree if needed without exposing most of your lower body or wetting your clothes. females can't aim when squatting in the bushes.

Oxytocin....exists...

Well, I'm probably already sexist merely by acknowledging that. That's how prejudices work, right?

Male :
pros
Pee everywhere, can say fuck it all without much prosecution(?), limited amount of clothes! (hate picking clothes, so i just take whatever is comfortable), can just bash another persons head in and suddently your awesome even if you didnt change.(ofcourse not without reason lol)

cons
Cant show weaknesses etc if you dont wanna become total outcast lol, generally ignored if you dont do anything about your looks(by females), generalizations about men being horny, pigs, have to fap, stereotype kind of thing, cant have proper bewbs :(

Female:
pros
Always, no matter how they look, some guy will find them attractive, have alot of erogenous zones, not as restricted in showing their feelings, BEWBS, always able to have a refreshing and completely different look if they want on an ordinary day.

cons
Bewbs :'/ If they're too big you can destroy your back just because of this, periods, societys pressure on appearances, always having a hard time knowing when to stop talking

I'd prefer being genderless tbh, and i kinda feel that way already so yeah

I like being a female.
Even with the horrible cramps once a month.
Men have to deal with awkward boners.
