I used to find memes funny, but then people thought they were automatically funny by making a meme joke. So now we just got a ton of bad overused jokes that is about as funny as watching paint dry.


Best example of this: Rage comics.

You wouldn't believe how many horribly bad versions there are of it.

I'm not really into memes -- they're usually not very funny, and even if they are, they're used repeatedly. I will admit that there are times when they are used in a kind of clever way, but I can't remember that happening any time recently. Since it's somewhat related, I'll just say that most memes produce this reaction:

Ugh, not /b/. there's some fucked up shit there. the 4chan anime boards (the safe for work ones) aren't so bad, but /b/.... IDC if they create lots of memes, I've seen some shit on there.
