Thank you, Crunchyroll, so much for the Xbox app. The PC I normally use to watch CR is fairly old and struggles to play the 1080p streams so I'm usually stuck watching shows at the lower qualities. I caught up with SAO today using the app and I was blown away by the picture quality. Plus, now I can watch CR on a significantly larger screen and on my couch instead of in a rickety office chair. |

Would it be possible to extend the timeout before the video cancels? I'm currently on Time Warner Cable, and it has.. issues with streaming video. I can watch 480i/p on my PC or the default size on my iPad, but the XBox videos keep cancelling out about halfway through. I think it's just the slowdown that TWC has for streaming (it hits YouTube and other services as well), but it's completely killing watching videos on the X360.
ED - my overall speed is plenty fast, and most videos are fine. It's just specific streaming sites that cause trouble, that's why I'm down at 480 for CR.

Think the problem is the fact that you're paying for Xbox Live. It boggles my mind how people willingly pay for something that all other hardware offer for free. Either way, it was a given that MS would force you to have Live to use the CR app. You're pretty much forced to have a Live account with ANY app on the 360, even if you're already paying a subscription fee for a paid service.

I have both now and until they fix the Xbox problems I'm sticking with the PS3 version. I'm tired of the random editing it's happening on shows. I wouldn't notice if I didn't watch things over and over and know what is supposed to be there.. so for new shows I haven't seen I make sure I watch on the PS3 since that has been fixed. Until they do fixes on the Xbox I'm not using this. Still though.. I'm happy I have the OPTION of both. Go CR |

I've been having problems with the app on xbox. for example ill be watching a show and a couple minutes into the show it will kick me of xbox live and will do so every episode and it's not my connection doing that since my laptop will remain connected to the internet the entire time.
