It may be less system favoritism and more "We should have restricted these to premium from the start". Hulu: Doesn't let you view on anything except a computer without subscribing Funimation: Has restrictions on free viewing on the apps (i.e., the free viewing on Roku is even more restricted than on the website, and to get more than sample episodes on their phone/tablet app, you either have to pay for the app [and get ads] or pay for an Elite membership). Since CR had already released their iOS, Android, and Roku apps with full support for free viewers, it would be difficult for them to suddenly make those premium only. They can, however, make new apps premium only.

I can navigate through the menus a lot better and the search function works well. There are some problem when playing videos from time to time, but that also happened when the app was first launched on the PS3. It will take some time for Crunchyroll to fix all the glitches, so we have to be patient. For now, I'll be sticking to the PS3....having Crunchyroll on there actually gives me a reason to turn it on other than playing DVD's/Blu-rays. Maybe, Ni No Kuni will be the game to actual get me to use the PS3 for games for a change.

So if there is an XBOX LIVE market in South Africa, it is supposed to have the app.

I'm not complaining though. Three bar connection is still really crisp.

I shouldn't have to have xbox live gold just to use a service i'm already paying for. CR on the 360 is just about useless to me even if i'm paying for XBL gold.
