You can download the app just fine. You can login just fine. But as soon as you try and play an episode it will prompt you to sign up to Xbox Live Gold to watch the content (as I just discovered.) :(
This is the main reason why I only my Xbox for games and nothing else. Live is blocking everything else :(. Thanks for the headsup

I have been having similar issues. Sometimes it seems like video skips. It also buffers too much. Buffers for 17 second then plays for 2 then buffers then plays again. The app seems to have a bandwidth problem. My internet is 5 mbs per second so i know its not my connections.

I've been using the crap out of this app since yesterday. I was about 10 episodes behind on Sword Art Online so the first thing I did was get caught up on that. I also watched all the episodes out so far for Blade of the Tempest, and I just made it to episode 09 of Total Eclipse. The app has run flawlessly. Not even a single minor hiccup. I hit play and it runs in HD until the end of the episode, every single time. I am supremely satisfied and immensely grateful to CR for finally putting an app on XBL. That said, time to get back to Total Eclipse.
