I'm not having any malformed data issues when logging in now, but there is still issues with the video itself when I'm watching a show. It will sometimes skip 5-6 seconds ahead, or will need to buffer many times throughout the show. Thanks for the xbox app though, it's the only reason I bought the membership, still love it even with the minor probs!

This app is giving me some serious issues with some shows that I tried watching. So far, Iris and Dr. Jin have just randomly closed and given me a "Crunchyroll Server Unavailable" message, while Coffee Prince has a habit of constantly buffering every few seconds, working for a couple minutes, and then buffering every few seconds again. Iris also has an issue where the sound will just stop working after 20-30 seconds sometimes. East of Eden is the only show so far that hasn't given me issues (-knocks on wood-). Seems like a lot of issues to be dealing with for something you pay for. Hoping it's something that's easily fixed.

Question for anyone in the know.. Do all the streams for the different devices come for the same CDN(s)? the reason I ask is I have been getting constant, non-stop server unavailable errors on the 360 from various shows, but when I swap over to the PS3 I not only do I pick up from where it puked out on me but I get no issues what so ever.

That doesn't mean you are necessarily getting the same CDN server or the same route to the same server. Have you changed the DNS settings on either of the systems?

The Xbox app is, if anything, getting worse for me. It rarely gets above '1 bar' now, which is an unwatchable mess of giant compression artefacts. It's a long, long way from the 'glorious HD' you promise on the front page of the site.

This just isn't good enough. You're charging customers for this service and we expect it to work. Get your act together, you've had enough time.

Both coming of the same dhcp server with identical DNS settings. I have tried multiple firewalls (my first one was a commercial grade that I thought maybe the IPS was causing me woes), i just stuck to the PS3 all day saturday with no issues. When i went into the other room and fired up the xbox later that night back to the same issue. Yes i tried multiple dns servers configured manually as well.

Something was going on last night.. I could not get through one episode with out it stalling or dropping to the server unavailable, eventually I just gave up and switched to Netflix.. I am really holding out hope that whatever is happening will be fixed soon as I really love the service but it's useless if I cannot watch it where I want.

Constant Buffering makes all shows un-watchable on any quality

-Only having this issue with Crunchyroll app
My free week was fine but the day i started paying for it this happens (since the 9th of feb) not a happy bunny

Have been using the Crunchy Roll app on xbox live since Dec 21st. The 1st couple of weeks were great. There were some loading issues, but they weren't a big deal. Quality would change every once in a while, but nothing that would take away from watching the shows.

Now there's a constant buffer that keeps happening which sucks if you're really into a show, and eventually I'll get the infamous Crunchyroll server unavailable message.

Never run into this problem with Hulu or Netflix.

I'm holding out hope that this issue will be fixed, but not for much longer.

I'm giving it about another month and that's it.

I've been using this app on Xbox for about a week now using the free trial. I've been seriously thinking about paying for this service as it offers alot of anime that I love watching. The problem is that for the past 3 days now my shows are either constantly buffering or I get sorry crunchyroll server is unavailable please try again later. Making a nice 25 min episode take upwards of 2 hours to watch with all the wait times on buffering and the constant reloading of the app itself and even resetting my internet and Xbox. I can only assume that the problem is on your end as I've been reading about many others experiencing the same issues. Netflix and Hulu are both working just fine as well.

What is with the subtitles cutting off on Hanasakeru Seishonen? The video player won't actually let you change between the different screen settings, (i.e. native, stretch, etc.) and it makes it difficult to read the subtitles. Is this just happening for me? I have watched episodes one and two with half of the subtitles cut off, then on episode three you just see the very top part of the text and it's nearly impossible to decipher. I don't know if it's the formatting of the video itself or what's going on, but it's pretty frustrating.

For the past three days, I've had issues with buffering, and quality skips between three and one bars.
