Regarding the malformed error: I encountered the same with Verizon DSL default DNS, and the open DNS servers provided by L3 and Google. Switching to OpenDNS gave me a streaming server that worked.

So...it's still not working. Still can barely get the app to log me in, still can't watch more than 10 seconds of any video. I sent a detailed description 3 days ago to through the 'contact us' link and still no answer, even though us premium members are supposed to have 'top priority'. I don't have a lot of time in the day due to work and other obligations; so the few hours I actually AM home, I'd like to be able to enjoy my streaming services, especially the ones that I'm paying for. The fact that this app costs nearly double of netflix or hulu, yet is plagued by crippling issues that mean most people can't even use it properly is just...well, retarded. Go ahead and cancel my auto-payment, or whatever. I've turned both cheeks on this one, and still getting slapped. Enjoy my 25 bucks; you're not getting another dime out of me, and trust me, I won't recommend this app to anyone.

Just as an FYI, it is the weekend and most of the CR employees do not work weekends.

Also, if you only watch Anime, your subscription should not be double that of Netflix or Hulu, it is the same price if you pay monthly. If you purchase the 3 month or 12 month plan, you get a discount. The 12 month plan comes out to less than $5 a month, which is $3 a month cheaper than Netflix or Hulu.

I'm not sure why you paid $25, as even the All-Access membership does not cost that much.

Apologies if this has been answered before, but is there a way to force the resolution on the app to a certain level? At night my internet slows down, so I usually change the resolution when watching on a computer to 480p instead of HD. However, the Xbox app will continue to try to play in HD even when the connection can't handle it.

I'm having a few issues with the Xbox app at the moment, i'm trying to watch Cuticle Detective Inaba Episode 9 and it keeps saying that the "Crunchyroll Server is Unavailable", it started doing this last night and i thought that it was a temporary issue, like an update or something, and i tried to watch it again this morning and i had the same message appear, even when i restart the video Is anyone else having these issues ?

I only get 3 bars with the xbox appand the HD stays grey. Any ideas?

It's possible the bit rate of the show (720p version) is not enough to trigger the HD light.

As a recommendation for the Xbox360 app, I would suggest the selection of subtittles. I pay the premium for my household (three brothers and one sister) and also have other streaming services and although I can read english with ease, my family does not.

The Xbox media player UI already has a button for this (like when playing a DVD) and it would make a terrifici addition to the service. I plan on sticking with CR services as me and my family enjoy it a lot.

Hello! I was trying to watch Naruto Shippuden and there seems to be an issue with lack of sound.
I've tried different configurations with my set up and still no sound. I'm not sure if any other videos
Are experiencing the same thing.
