Let's see if changing the DNS on your Xbox helps with this.

I would try Google's DNS - 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

Let me know if this helps!

Pushing new encodes on this to see if that fixes it!

The app on Xbox 360 is ridiculous, it stops to load way too frequently on either a WiFi or ethernet connection and it plays just fine on the PC.

In my experience, it's pretty much broken when it comes to streaming.

Can you provide some details such as your location, and episodes that you've experienced this problem with? We believe there is still an issue with our content host that is causing problems for some users -- we just need to track down what server is acting up and provide them with the information to hopefully get it corrected.

I'm in the UK, nothing plays without constant buffering.

Mostly been watching Girls und Panzer, Azura Cryin, Littlebusters, Vividred generally nothing is watchable for any more than a few minutes.

A lot of Roku users have been having issues streaming from a bundle of servers in Tempe Arizona.
I've been seeing this server pop up for some PS3 and Xbox users as well.

I consistantly have issues with the CR app on xbox I've never had a issue with the one on ps3 or my computer.

today I received server unavailable during both Kotoura-San and Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East.

restarting or removing and reinstalling the app only resulted in the stream crashing in the exact same place.

I'm using the Crunchyroll app for the 360 (great job on it btw) and for the most part I'm getting very good picture quality and playback.

My question is, when I look at in the info pane bar, i get the full bars but HD doesn't look like it's enabled. Does this mean that my video is not in HD when I'm watching my content?

Right now I'm watching Sword Art Online (which I can watch no problem in 1080p for the PC) and the quality looks great, but again looking at the info pane bar I get the full bars but HD does not look like it's enabled.

What do I have to do to enable HD for the 360? I haven't been able to try this on the PS3 due to PSN being down but that would be great to know what I need to do to enable HD for my video.

Thanks and great job on the app.

Apologies for this, that 'same place error screen' issue typically implies a bad encode for those videos. Could you provide which videos it was so we can queue them for re-encode?

The HD-indicator for Xbox is kind of an emulated process, you are safer going by the bars than the HD icon. The HD icon goes by your speed downloading files and since this varies on the server currently it's not a fair estimate -- the bars go by the playback bitrate of the video, based on ranges that are typical for our various qualities (from 360p to 720p)

tried out the 360 app earlier, but I immediately thought it felt off.
It wasn't any bad quality or buffering/audio issues, but all the colours where REALLY bright. like someone had cranked up the saturation to max on my TV (they had not).
But when I compared the 360 stream to the PC one (I cued up an episode of fairy tail to the same point) the PC stream looked perfectly normal. And since my TV is connected to my PC I could compare the 360 and PC stream on the same screen, the PC one looked fine on the TV as well.
It seems to be affecting all of the shows as well.

Any thoughts? or should I send an message to support?

Many HDTV displays (including my budget 2007 model) will retain settings per port, which means that the port your 360 is plugged into (I assume HDMI) doesn't have the same color, contrast, brightness, etc. settings as your PC (which I assume is plugged in via either VGA or different HDMI port).

Also, if you are running Vista or newer, the OS will have its own color controls, and even with XP, NVIDIA and AMD drivers typically incorporate color controls. All that aside, one model video card isn't necessarily going to have the same gamma curve as another, much less another non-PC device.

The more important factor is how do the colors look compared to another video app on the 360? If you have Hulu Plus on your XBOX, try comparing episodes of a series that is on both Hulu and Crunchyroll, or if you don't, try the Crackle app. Nisemonogatari exists on all 3 services, but other Aniplex titles would be good candidates.

Since we are on the topic of TV settings, I recommend people purchase or rent a TV calibration DVD or Blu-Ray. I just rented the DVE HD Basics disc from Netflix to calibrate a new TV my grandparents just purchased. I calibrated my main TV a couple years back when I got it and was actually amazed at how well LG had set the different color/brightness/contrast settings on the two Expert memory settings, as I only had to make some minor adjustments to get the picture perfect by going off of the Blu-ray calibration disc. On the other hand, the Samsung tv my grandparents just purchased was way off and had no where near the same amount of control settings as my LG. I was unable to get their TV to the same level as mine, or even my Samsung 40" LCD I purchased in 2007.

Theirs is an edge lit LED display, which tend to crush blacks and and clip whites above 235. Usually this can be fixed by changing the color from Full to Standard (To change it to 16-235 from 0-255), but I was unable to find a way to do that on their set. I plan on looking online to figure out if there is a way to "unlock" more advanced settings.

At least they got it on sale for cheap at Costco. TV was listed at $1300, but they walked out the door only spending $887 on it and that included a 3 year extended warranty and sales tax.
