yeah it's pretty hard being friends with an ex, you can try but usually doesn't work out especially when one of the party just ignores the other

I think it is a bad idea to stay friend with your ex.

Nah i dont think so...i have only one ex,and we are good friends even now. It's something special though i must admit....i have not it in me to love someone that deeply anymore.

Exactly. You can not forget them and you walk around and think that you can not love anyone else more. I assume you do not have a lover right now?
The feeling that your lover have contact with someone he or she has been intimate with etc. is not a good feeling. And the thought of them being close friends is even worse.

This is, of course, only my opinion, and I can't speak for everyone.

Yes i cant forget her..but why should i forget her?o.oIf i start loving someone,i dont stop until i am dead.Loving is not something you can just stop in my case, you keep loving till the end.And no i don't have a lover right now.

Ah...i dont have that problem,i have moved on that front.i cant expect her to be like i am,so respect her choices and offer whatever support i can.But it's okay...i understand your wiewpoint.

I'm friends with one of my exes and we've been friends for about 4 years after the break up..so I think in some rare cases it can work.

Nope, terrible idea. It's cruel on them as well as yourself.

Some of them. But I got one that I still have feelings for. I'm deeply in love with her.

It's like saying, "Hey, the dog died, but let's keep it."

You shouldn't be "friends" with your ex.

Unless you can pull it off.

Depends on your relationship. Usually, it's difficult to start over. However, given time, it's possible.

I see no need to be friends with an ex. a year ago, I wouldn't even tolerate the notion of it. but alas I tried it, because that's what she wanted. after awhile we just got on each others' nerves, so I just ended it. so from that experience, I don't even know why she wanted to try it, let alone other people doing it .

Let's be honest you're only staying friends with them to see if the next person they date is an upgrade or a downgrade.

Only after the two are both completely over each other.
