I'm not sure if it's just the girls i've met. But i've met girls who've held grudges for 3 years over something stupid, then end up "sisters"? I've had my fair share of fights but never held a grudge or something for that long, if anything me and my friends would get over things from a couple of weeks to a few minuets. So what's up with the ladies?

LOL, that gif is from a recent episode, right? I remember seeing it recently.

I've never held a grudge over something stupid, so I'm not sure what to tell you. All I know is that the majority of females on this planet are pretty much animals when it comes to other females. Have you seen Mean Girls? It's full of awesome quotes and a window to the minds of *most* of the female population.

I've seen guys that do it to. I actually know a guy who legitimately wants to get his ex from a year ago and his ex from a few months ago killed. It's not a trait exclusive to only the female gender. It's everywhere. Pretty funny actually.

"Cindy, omg, why do you hate Clarissa so much?"
"Because she like, cut in in front of me in the canteen line last July. Stupid cow."
"Wow. What a total bitch."
"Yeah. Hope she, like, dies or something."

If it's something stupid I don't hold grudges. If it's something serious it takes me a long while to get over it. So I can't say for other females other than exactly what renactually's picture says: bitches be crazy!

The only time I held a grudge was at Blockbuster...

but now they're all closed. So I rejoice.

This made my day. C:

You will need to define stupid. What find you stupid could be very serious to another.
I've held grudges but I felt it was appropriate to the situation. However at the same time I am still civil with the people if I have to be and they probably don't know I have a grudge against them.
I mean how dare Shelly wear the same shirt as me, she doesn't even look good in it. <___<

I think this is just as wrong a thread as any "why do men..." post.

Fact is both genders hold grudges.

I'm certainly harbouring a grudge against Bioware. Whom I used to love.

This image lies, I seen men fist fight each other over a plate of pizza, when it was delivered to their table. :/

I personally can't hold a grudge unless the other person is holding a grudge against me, but yeah I have some friends who hold grudges for absolutely no reason and I can't understand why :/
Maybe it's just how were taught to deal with things?

I don't like holding grudges. But once something serious has been done, it takes me a while to get over it. Especially if I had trusted someone, only for them to have trampled over me later. Thankfully, I scared off that person, and she seems to be afraid of me.....not that I'd do anything to her, cuz she's not worth it. And that takes too much effort, lol.

In a generalization state guys don't give two craps and girls care too much. this is a generalization not fact more like an opinion. Now for me I have never held a grudge for more than a day. I just stop caring about the situation and let it be. Their is only one person so far who I had held a grudge on for half a year. I think that is when I stopped caring about such things and just go into realization and say whatever. I may be considered a terrible person for having such a way with things. but I dont see the point of letting someone get the benifit of my; I guess we could call it anger. lol

I think girls hold grudges for different reasons. I only hold grudges if someone i thought was my friend did something to screw me over then i get revenge and hate them forever. I've been holding a grudge since I was in the 7th grade and I'm 20 now. But anyways some girls could hold grudges for the dumbest things like if a girl wore the same exact dress as her to prom or buying something that she really wanted when another girl could hold grudge because her friend kissed her crush or boyfriend. I think women get hurt easier than guys. Women are very sensitive creatures lol.

I don't think a certain gender holds more grudges then the other. Both genders hold grudges. I think its more of a question what type of personality and life experience a person has that may cause them to hold grudges versus someone else.

Girls are more emotionally sensitive.
