Nope, lately I've been listening to either japanese music or techno with no lyrics so yeah. I guess I'm subconsciously tired of the english aspect of the music. Maybe it allows me to focus more on the style of the music itself instead of the lyrics leading the song. Anyway, no it is not weird to have japanese music on your phone/ipod.

Hehe ~ the only weird thing about it is when someone ask if you know Japanese : ) but hey ~ we got a reason why we downloaded it : )

Seeing as my current ring tone is Supercell's "Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari" and a good chunk of my music collection is Japanese, I'm gonna have to say no. Enjoy whatever you like to enjoy! Our lives are too short to worry about what someone else thinks about our choice of music, or anything else we like in our leisure time.

No, not if it's a good tune anyway! I guess the only danger is if the lyrics were something strange and/or offensive and someone who knows Japanese and does not know the artist heard it...

Of course not...

I listen to a lot of foreign language songs... Hoy tengo ganas de ti being one of them. It's Spanish, I don't understand it. But that's what Lyrics translation websites are for...

For my whacked out playlists...right now on both my iPad and iPhone, I've got it running at
~85% Anime+Jpop,
2% classic rock,
4% Disco/Dance/Funk from 70's and 80's...
3% Pop (80's mostly.. )
1% Tejano + Cajun
3% Polka/Czeck
2% recent dance/Electro

While I am working on my Nihongo, I also don't know Spanish (past some small stuff), I don't know French (for the Cajun side),
and only a few words of Polish and such.
Doesn't stop me from getting lyrics and singing along however..
I pretty much always pay more attention to the music side more than lyrics anyways.. I'm a drummer so the music's the prime thing.
I just wish I had 64GB (or the 128gig) devices...need more space!
