Nozomi is wandering around Rosen campus when she notices an old abandoned farm and sits on the front porch. She takes out her iPod and headphones, places them on and takes out a sketchpad and a pencil. After turning up her iPod volume she begins to draw as she listens to her music. A few minuites pass and she checks her watch on her wrist. "Better get back soon." she thinks and continues to draw.

Nikki took the lead as requested. They walked a little further down the stone path to a narrow dirt path that rambled around following the contours of the field. Finally they reached what appeared to have once been the yard surrounding the house. The windows they could see were all broken out and the front door was only hanging by it's top hinge.

Alexus stopped as she looked at the house. The house itself creeped her out. "Damn," She said as she looked around them. Though the house was a mess, the surrounding grassland seemed rather nice and the grass had a bright color to them. But the plants closer to the house, like old crops, were all brown.

[ we're here now, she's not]
Nikki stepped onto to the porch. The boards creaked and groaned. He turned to Alexus but she had stopped well short of the porch. The worried expression on her face betrayed her. "Just wait here...I'll see if there's anything of interest," he said as he turned and disappeared thru the doorway. Several minutes passed and Nikki appeared with dust and cobwebs on his shoulders and arms. "There's some some furniture, a few portraits on the walls and this." He was carrying a dust covered book. "It's a bible will a few pages of family history recordings....but I don't recognize any of these names." Nikki turns the opened book to Alexus.

Alexus waits for Nikki to come out. She even went closer to the porch, stepping on it, but stopped. She pulled her foot back and went back to waiting. Once Nikki came out and with the book, she only watched him. In Egypt, her family didn't have a bible. Others did, but they didn't. She looked at the open book, not knowing any of the names. "I don't think this is a bible..." Alexus told him, but she didn't know really.

Alexus looked at it then she took it from him. "Let's take it," She said as she held onto it. It was dusty and it began to get on her. She then sat on one of the steps, it didn't groan from her weight. "Maybe we could find something that relates to you in it."

"Maybe, but unless it says 'Nikki' we won't know since I haven't got a last name yet. Tell you what, you look thru it and I'll go upstairs and look around. I was kind of hesitant to use the stairs. So keep your ears open for me crashing thru." He grinned as he turned and went back inside.

Alexus couldn't even stop him since he left. She sighed as she looked through the book. It wasn't really a bible, just a book filled with family records. Just like he said. "Why couldn't he remember his last name?" She asked herself as she looked at the blue sky.

Several minutes later Nikki returned with a faded picture in hand. He handed to Alexus saying, "Check this out... maybe this is my family." It pictured 4 young children; 3 girls and a boy. "Look at the back." In handwriting that seemed feminine it read, 'Angel 3 yrs, Tabitha 5, Jesse Lynne 9, Nikki 4.' The youngster resembled Nikki in facial features and hair color.

Alexus grabbed the picture and held it gently in her hands. She read the names then looked at the picture again. She looked at the younger Nikki and the one beside her. "Maybe," She said as she looked back at the book. "Keep looking, I think we can find out who you are from this place."

Nikki went back into the house. After about 10 minutes Alexus heard a loud crash. Another couple of minutes passed and Nikki emerged carrying another picture and rubbing his left elbow. "How about this one?" he said ,showing her a faded wedding picture. On the back it read, 'Jesse Lynne Stone marries Tommy Lee Whitaker...February 14, 2001.' Nikki looked excited. "Nikki Stone,"he said."I guess I'm Nikki Stone. Did you find any clues in that book?"

Alexus soon stod up and went up to him. The steps groan from her steps. She grabbed onto his left elbow. "What happened?" She asked him, the book in her left arm and his elbow in her right hand. She was going to say more until she looked at the picture. "2001?" Alexus soon lets go of his elbow and pulls out the first picture from before. She begna to connect the two pictures.

"I'm ok, damn rat startled me, I tripped and crashed into a dresser. But behind the dresser was this picture. Guess I owe Mr. Rat." He grinned as he spoke.
