Not that I plan on watching this, but how can you lose the rights if you already bought them? and anything else.
Not complaining but I don't really know how stuff like that work's. |

The "rights" are a license to stream the show. Like most licenses you deal with in everyday life, they often come with an expiration date. At that time that expires, the licensor may or may not decide to renew the license, or may wish to change the rate or terms (which may make it untenable for CR). For older shows like these, the licensor may even be willing to renew the contract, but may require a payment that simply is no longer supported by the number of views the series currently sees on CR. It isn't as if people haven't had enough time to view these, either. Steel Angel Kurumi and Steel Angel Kurumi 2 have been here since December 13, 2008 (slightly before CR went fully legit), and Steel Angel Kurumi Zero since January 6, 2009. |

Go ahead and watch the first two seasons, they are actually kind of fun to watch. Stay away from Zero because it is mind numbingly boring

I thought it was one of the first legal titles in CR's library, but wasn't sure. Not surprising CR letting go of its older titles wouldn't be surprised if Leiji Matsumoto's works and Hokuto no Ken go soon too since they were added around the same time as Kurumi if I remember. |

Life is a bitch, so if its easy your doing it wrong

Hmm....Getting good PR is certainly something that should benefit CR. Personally I hope that these marathons help Crunchyroll get more content on their website. |

at the rate their losing things we will have nothing to watch

Well, thanks for the details? Guess I have a marathon to do. 2 episodes in and while it's a little bit of ecchi I could do without is sufficiently confusing enough to make me wonder "why" and requires further watching to finish knowing.
Edit* and sadly I lost interest a few episodes later... |

Always offline, but feel free to leave a message

1st the Bandai titles and now this? These guys really should start a 1 month ahead of time notice for stuff like this. Otherwise, we'll start seeing in the news about crazed otaku who pretty much live in their rooms 24/7 just so they can watch all the stuff they don't want to miss before the expiration date.

The first season isn't bad for what it is, decent action with fanservice, but the other two should be avoided at all costs

Too much anime, not enough time
