I studied TKD for about 3 yrs. and stopped at red belt. Joined the USMC and learned their unarmed fighting techniques and a few moves from different styles from people I met. These include a bit of Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Aikido. I'd love to learn Wing Chun and JKD, but unfortunately, no schools close enough. Haven't practiced in years though, so probably get it handed to me.

Logic.
Born with it, talented in it, practiced it, and have used it in countless fights.
All with the intent to help the opposition, though.

Age 3 1/2 - present day ITF full contact Taekwondo 18 years experience
Age 8-18 Kyokushin Kai Karate

I stopped Karate and changed to Krav Maga which is amazing. Israeli special forces use it, and the defense techniques vary and some spring off from other styles such as Ju-jutsu.

For me its not just a lifestyle but a career path aswell that takes me all over the world.

Boyevoye Sambo(6 years), Tranta(2 years), Song Moo Kwan(8 years), Shorin-ryu(3 years). They've kind of blended all together at this point, I still spar with people but I'm not formally training anymore. Luckily there's a few people in town with similar training, one who's way more experienced than I, but all 5 of them are also ex-military combat arms so they do help keep me sharp and I learn something new everytime.

Ive practiced Krav Maga for over 10 years. I have been in a few fights but I hate the idea and always went easy on people. It started with keeping a family tradition but I do it now for exercise and oddly enough, relaxation.

Its a very practical form of martial arts, and brutally efficient. No fancy moves or wasted energy, but direct force to neutralize a lot of bad situations.

Muay Thai, Boxing, Kickboxing, Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and most recently, Krav Maga.
I took TKD but I don't really count that towards anything. It was more of a discipline factor than some sport/art.
I also want to learn capoeira so badly, but I haven't found a teacher or a slot in time for it yet.

If I'm allowed to someday, I'll try to visit the Marine's Mixed Martial Arts HQ and learn from them.

I love how young brats train in a martial art and think they can take on anyone like they're Goku from DBZ.

Tai Chi (good for stress relief)
Boxing
Jiu Jitsu (during military)
BJJ (during military)
Kung Fu (just the basics)

I dont like fighting seriously. People like to talk to police and lawyers. I dont have time for that.
If it gets to a point where I even think I might loose my cool, I leave. Some people think that
getting beat up requires you get a gun and look for some quick and easy revenge. I dont have
time for that either. Life is too short to end up in jail or dead because of some other fool with
barely any brains escalating crap.

Monday and Thursday is Jiu Jitsu
Tuesday and Thursday is Stand Up (boxing/kick). Yes Thursday has both.
Wednesday is Muay Thai and Friday is Kickboxing.

My training schedule. Considering my body physique, preferred Muay Thai.
