Hmm i'm not really sure how much further they would bring this anime. They already saved Asuna and everything. they would prob have to make a whole new set of characters.

well, all the work's already done. the SAO/ALO story was only 5 of 11 novels. I'm hoping they eventually get around to another season. I loved Phantom Bullet and Mother's Rosario. Alicization is a little slower paced to start off, but I think it's actually the most interesting part of the SAO saga so far.

oh dannnng. Alright, Lets see if they can make thoes pages into the anime.

They most likely will, but for now they will probably focus on releasing SAO games and merchandise.

Only time will tell. Blue Exorcist is getting an anime film and a dub too. So It should get another season that follows the manga story, especially with how much has happened in the story now.

Ultimately it depends on whether they keep to the manga/novel or choose filler/ova.

I'd like an english dub, just to hear how it would sound against the subs.

Well, I personally think that if they were not to continue the story with GunGale Online.. why would they even sketch new characters? For example (Sinon). But I think that the announcement is gunna be made in like.. 5/6 months or so?

The content or rather plot of ALO could of been better, as for the regard of a season 2 it would probably be announce right after spring 2013 considering the amount of fans and viewer it has receive. But I still looking forward to season 2 though.

The ending to SAO kinda tease a second season anyway, because I felt that it was left unfinished in a way.

Kirito and Asuna are back together, Kabaya's seed created more worlds, and all the characters are going into aincrad.

I might have to read GGO to see what happens from there, because I don't think we'll see another season of SAO for awhile, hopefully we get another season if we're lucky.

More than likely they'll continue.

SAO was an EXTREMELY popular show worldwide. It was a massive hit that the anime biz badly needed. The fan base is immense and cash positive. There is no way they won't try to capitalize on the current momentum. From a purely business view point, the SAO "universe" is a cash cow, and will remain so for years to come.

If TWGOK got a second season then I'm sure Sword Art will.

Their's a rumor going around that they want to push out a second season of Accel World, another LN done by Reki Kawahara, before they focus on Sword Art again.

I feel like the anime didn't do enough justice with ALO mainly because they cut some parts out. The light novel version (which can be found online if you search it up) does a lot better job of explaining the story of the ALO arc. The anime version of ALO seems to mainly be about Kazuto saving Asuna before she gets married off to Sugou.

Yeah, Accel World was pretty successful too, but it did kind of compete with SAO in terms of views since episodes 13-24 of AW aired at the same time they released episodes 1-12 for SAO. Though it was still really successful so I'm pretty sure they're going to focus on AW first since it finished before SAO did. If I had to guess a release or air date for both, AW will probably be around April and SAO would be around July or who knows, they might release season 3 for both SAO and AW at the same time.

(I'm saying 3 because I personally believe a season in anime terms is around 13 episodes which is the length of a season or 13 weeks)

Yeah definitely. It's always confusing when a two cour anime is done as most people don't know if it's season 1 and 2 combined or just a longer season 1. Either way most believe we won't hear much on a new season for SAO until at least probably Spring or Summer this year.

Of course the'll be another season. I love SAO:) It's my 4th favourite anime. I mean't that I don't think we'll get another season so soon, because SAO just finished and their going to have a break. Their bringing out a game on PSP in march and that alone explains what happens after Kirito defeated Kabaya, so we get to see the final 25 floors of SAO, before Kirito returned to the real world. My question is if Asuna is a party member in the game does that mean that something happend to get her captured and sent to ALFheim? That could be a interesting twist.

I don't really know if it would something i want to watch at this point. Once it finished the SAO arc it just lost something. If they do make another season I hope some one steps in and makes sure it doesn't drag like all of 13-25 did.
