Can't believe this series is ending!

They have to go on with the light novel.

Best series of the year in my book!

What should they move on with in this series?

If anything I want to see Gun Gale Online arc animated. I have not read the novel but saw some things on wikipedia about Gun Gale.

I dunno... I kinda hope they dont animate GGO. I like that the series had such a wonderful ending, continuing it I think would ruin this ep's spectacular finale.

Of course if they do, I can always ignore it (though I probably wont).

I think it would be hard to find. How many are published in English? And I guess it really depends on the fans demands and sales on the dvd. Mostly Sales xD

http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index.php?title=Sword_Art_Online You're welcome. Also if anyone who is reading this read the light novels, did they spawn Aincrad etc in the Light Novel and did you get to read about them clearing it?

No, the light novels don't have anything about them clearing the rest of Aincrad. They haven't officially announced it yet but they're probably going to release the third and fourth arc which is Gun Gales Online and Underworld.
I'm not sure if this is going to ruin the series but I wouldn't Ming making one or two OVAs before then.

You think maybe they'd make the GGO arc into a say 2.5 hour movie or something? or is it too long for that (which i wouldnt be surprised if it is)

it kinda feels like code geass, with the way they ended it.

but they can atleast redeem themselves. but apparently asuna is taken out of the picture from what i hear. maybe thats why they decided to end it. but yea im in love with the SAO world. would really love to own and spend 200+ hours on the game. and if its becomes an MMO than it better live up to the standards. to bad bandai ending its us branches, so won't be expecting SAO to be in the US anytime soon unless something big happens.

anyways yea good episode, epic but didn't feel some part were as effective as it could be.

and as a movie, they could turn any arc into a movie of any anime and still be successful but i'd rather have a long series than a short movie.

I'd be happy with any way they decided to continue it, I just love the show and the worlds... and I hope they tell more stories in them.

what I think would be a kind of cool thing to do would be to actually go BACK into Aincrad and create an almost spinoffish 'adventure-a-day' style show featuring them re-clearing Aincrad from the start. Sure a few bosses would be repeated, but it'd be awesome to see. :)
Almost certainly won't ever happen, but it'd be fun to watch. :)

But either way I loved the ending, sure parts of it were a bit cliche but it had everything I was hoping to see in it.

Well here's the translated text of that scene from baka tsuki:

Yui flew from Asuna's shoulder onto Kirito's shoulder.

"Hey, Papa, hurry!"
Kirito's piercing glance looked at Aincrad, for a moment he was downcast. His lips moved, whispering a name, but she couldn't hear it.
When Kirito raised his head vigorously, his face had his usual dauntless smile back on again. He spread his wings wide, aiming for the sky in front.
"Ok— Let's go!!"

I'm going to guess that he probably was saying something to Sachi, the girl from the Black Cats of the Full Moon who had died.
