My family and myself was in a car accident when I was about one year old. Some guy ran into the back of our car. I ended up having a broken collar bone.

Second accident, which I won't go into details about, I had a dislocated ankle, 3 different types of fractures in two of my bones of my ankle/lower leg (and yes, part of the bone was piercing through my flesh), and torn ligaments/tendons.

From what they told me, it's supposedly worse than childbirth....but I don't plan on proving that theory right anytime soon lol

I've been in a good number of accidents, many of them from racing, but I'm lucky enough to never have been hurt.

I was in a car accident awhile back, caused by a drunk driver nonetheless. He slammed into the front of my car, because he was swerving everywhere. Everyone in my car was alright, but he died on impact. I still feel bad about it, even though it was not my fault in any way.

Anyway, I ended up breaking a few ribs, got major whiplash and a huge gash on my forehead, it bled like crazy. I broke my right arm and my left wrist, my legs felt like they were broken but weren't, and other than that I got a few cuts and scrapes and what not. Everyone in my car was fine, they got about the same injuries I did, some even worse than I.

I was on my way to return a movie at the local video store and I was riding my bike. It was my right to pass, and all of a sudden this car comes in and turns and hits the front wheel of my bike. All I remember is seeing the concrete floor. I didn't have any major injuries but I get traumatized so I don't ride my bike as much like I use to. I only had a bruise on my cheek and that's about it.

Some 20 years ago, while in college, I was coming down a steep hill on my bicycle, and going fairly fast. I had the right of way (no stop sign for my direction), but the car facing me at the intersection at the bottom of the hill made a left turn right into me. I remember my face impacting the hood of the car, and the next thing I can recall is that I'm on my back on the ground and the ambulance was already there. I remember being put on the board with the neck brace, and the paramedics constantly telling me not to move. Thank God I had a helmet on that day. In the end, I only lost portions of two teeth and my face was pretty swollen (went to class the next day, and the professor asked whether I had gotten into a fight or something!). One tooth was too far gone to be salvaged, and so they pulled it at the hospital. The dentist initially probed the nerve with a cotton swab, and that felt like getting hit by lightning-- the pain just shot through my head, I literally nearly jumped off the examination chair. They had to shoot me up with twice extra xylocaine or lidocaine, and then he needed an assistant to pull the broken root out. I remember at least one guy climbing on top of the exam chair over me to yank the tooth out. Eventually, I got a bridge to replace the lost tooth; the other damaged tooth was repairable.

I was about 6 or 7 years old. When i was with my family of my sister, dad, and mom we drove to our home. We were on the highway where we stopped on the side of the road and we were hit from the back by a drunk driver. My sister had a broken leg, mom had a concussion, my dad broke both his legs, and I had lost parts of my memory and had emotional destruction. After our family was hospitalized I was excluded from school and home-schooled until i was in middle school.

The worst car accident I have been in was when my old Jeep Wrangler was totalled. hit a patch of black ice and slid into the oncoming traffic. the oncoming car hit my passenger rear quarter panel and sent my Jeep a rolling it landed on it's passenger side on the side of the road. thankfully I was not injured. I had to climb out the drivers door and stand on the steering wheel. I am so glad that my dad had installed a full roll-bar in the jeep to mount his radios as the damage could have been a lot worse if the roll-bars were left stock and used the wind shield as the forward mount point instead of being taken all the way to the frame. I am lucky to have survived that if the Jeep was not modded I am not sure how I would have faired. also I am glad the road I was on was not a highway. It was an intersection between a 35 and a 45mph road.
