Yeah ranch work is hard work, we did landscaping and worked a lumber yard as a teen hard work but besides cuts and a jammed finger you didnt get hurt that much and toes were safe for steal toed boots all though you could cut a limb off with a saw or wood grinder. we were city kids who moved to a small town with out any thing to Do in the U.P MI to besides 4 wealers/dirt bikes, fishing and mudding was the only fun legal things to do. as yupers are crazy we did ethier dumb things wail drinking or getting into fights. but am sure if we worked on a ranch we would be to bizzy to get in much trouble as i am sure you are. LOL I also don't think any one would go as far to brake a bone for fun, just flesh. ahh you need to be careful Not to injure you hand you do ranch work your hands are your livly hood. but you did say you feel no pain in them any more but thats why i said be careful Not to injure them.

None. Broken bones sound painful

I try to drink a cup of milk EVERYDAY but I doubt it actually helps "strengthen bones"

i was pretty crazy b4 i broke my first bone, and i ate it really hard numerous times, but i broke my neck in a car accident , surprisingly athe accident itself wasn't that painful, and then years after i snapped my shinbone in 2 in what apparently was a 180deg twist according to my doc but i didn't even realize when it happened so i cant quite speak to the direct pain of breaking a bone

I've had a total of 4 fractures and I'm hoping and praying that I won't have any more broken bones or dislocations.

1) Broken collar bone - from a car accident I was in, w/ my family, when I was still a baby.

Ankle dislocation & fractures - accident
2) Trimalleolar fracture (specific type of ankle fracture)
3) Torus fracture of the distal tibia
4) Compound fracture of the distal fibula

The one that hurt the most was obviously ankle dislocation & fractures. As I waited for help to arrive, as long as I didn't move & stayed as still as possible, the pain was somewhat tolerable; however, once the fire fighters arrived and tried moving me around......yeah you get the idea. I don't wanna freak people out. But I now have a whole lot of titanium (11 screws & a metal plate) in my lower leg/ankle as a constant reminder of that crap.

From what I was told at my orthopedic surgeon's office, most people usually get fractures to the upper extremities (i.e. hands, wrists, arms.

Flipped a go-cart a few years back and snapped my upper arm in two. However I was pretty lucky it was such a clean break that it was it very painful between the shock and numbness I barely felt it. Actually had to sit in the emergency waiting room at the hospital for 4 hours before they would take me in. I watched a girl who came in like an hour after me get taken in immediately because she was screaming like she was dying... she got hit relatively hard with a softball in the chest she was back out in 5 minutes. Just because I was quiet and patient the nurses didn't believe my arm was broken.. when they finally got me in they were like "Wow your arm is broken you must be pretty tough to sit there so calm." -almost an exact quote. I was so pissed haha

Anyways sorry for the rant... lol

Wow, feel like i should go into the streets and start handing out some milk. Most peoples bones are like trigs. Trigs that need some milk. MILK, wow, i want some MILK now.

I don't think I've ever broken a bone but ages ago when I was being chased by my bro I ran into a table and bashed my foot... Half of my foot had some massive purple bruise over it and my middle toe on my right foot has been kinda bent ever since then >.> I don't know if it broke or dislocated or what but it hurt a lot at the time...

I've never had anything break myself really which is lucky since I have fallen a lot in the past :] But once when I was like 8 at school in PE I saw someone break their arm really badly O__O I'm glad I haven't had to go through that...

I guess I am generally careful, but when I was skateboarding a few months ago I fell twice within 10 mins and I never wear pads or anything so that was bad -.- I guess now I'd be more likely to wear protective gear but I'm not overly careful overall XD

Depends on the bone. Fingers and toes you barely even notice, ribs are annoying but really not any worse than just being bruised. Iv heard collar bones hurt and legs/arms can hurt if its near the joint.

Edit: Noses dont really hurt much either.

I have actually broken no bones! And thank goodness too.

I suppose it's that adventurous attitude of mine all cooped up inside of me so I don't have to suffer pain.
