I like Christmas, but it drives me crazy. Being an expert procrastinator, I still have shopping to do. And noone ever tells me what they want. Its always 'aah I dont need anything really, and were broke and cant return the favor'... shit like that. So with the exception of my nephews, everyone else in my family is a pain in the ass to shop for. But I always like to get something for everybody no matter what, yet end up stressing over what that actually is and if they will like it..... Im glad when its over though  |

I used to like Christmas but I’ve come to hate the over commercialism aspect of the holiday. I feel like it's bastardizing the holiday, which started as a Christian scheme to steel worship from paganism grew to be a day that children of the world could look forward to. A day where they could believe in magic and good will towards man, A small sparing shelter before the reality of the world hit's and now it's all marketing. Bahumbug I say.

I don't like wasting money, but understand it's a yearly boost to our economy, so have at it.
I roll my eyes when people think it's Jesus' B-Day.
I like the lights, but detest putting them up/taking them down.
I enjoy eating all the great food.
I love imaging the wonderful time my new pitbull pup will have tearing open his presents.
Over all, for a BS holiday, it's pretty nice.
EDIT Plus Christmas bonus' are awesome.

I'm a little strange when it comes to Christmas. Hate Christmas movies and songs but I love Christmas day. Spending time with family, giving presents and having lots of fun...always look forward to this time of year.
