No. No one knows when Jesus is supposed to have been born.
What's for certain is that it was NOT during the winter, seeing as it would be way too cold. The christmas holiday as a whole was nothing but a way to lure the pagans into accepting christianity more easily.
How? By taking a holiday they were already celebrating, and pretending as if it had something with Jesus to do.
The holiday's original name was "Yule" or "Yuletide", and still goes by that name up here in Scandinavia.
