Ok, so I was bored and decided to see how much of my life I had actually spent watching anime. Here's what I did (I really wish it would show up better):

On average it's 24 minutes / 1 episode

24 min / 1 ep X 1 hour / 60 min = 0.4 hr / 1 ep

0.4 hr / 1 ep X 1 day / 24 hr = 0.01667 day/ 1 ep

0.01667 day / 1 ep X y ep / 1 life = z ; where y is the number of episodes you've watched and z is the hours of your life that has been spent watching anime.

So, I went back and counted the number of episodes I've watched. Keep in mind that if you've watched an episode more than once you'll have to count it that many times. Personally I've re-watched waaaaay too many episodes and I didn't keep track of them so I'm just going to solve the equation as if I've only watched these episodes once (and then be blissfully unaware of exactly how many hours I've spent in my life watching anime).

0.01667 day / 1 ep X 5349 ep/ 1 life = 89.167 day / life has been spent watching anime episodes at least once.

So if I think about how many episodes I've rewatched then it's roughly...half a year of my entire life has been spent watching anime? I don't know where to feel proud of myself or just cry.

Can I post about a site that allows you to put all the anime you have watched on here? Idk if it would be advertising or not. But it basically counts up how many days you have spent watching anime.

Well, I was watching anime way before I had access to the internet so I just counted the ones I watched after I got my first computer.

My guess would be around....a few years worth!

I'd say around 41 days according mal. People saying 500 seems kind of hard to believe.
