I love smoking, but I only smoke cigarillos now because 1 pack of cigarillos a week is cheaper than 2 50g pouches of tobacco a week and this way I am smoking less. I prefer unfiltered tobacco anyway

No.
But unfortunately, I am always exposed to second-hand smoke due to my family. My sister always is anxious so she smokes constantly.
I'm scared it will make me asthmatic, if I'm not already.

Hardcore smoker for past 20+years
Can't quit, tried that once, wife smokes and we just ended up fighting
Also, it is better to be a smoker than
1) Alcoholic. Yes I drink, but not in excess. If I didn't have cigs that could change
2) My body reacts horribly to other types of smoking some here have mentioned. Just not an option. Also Cigs won't get you fired from a drug test
3) To quote a comedian (look it up, no cure for cancer) Smoking shaves 10 years off your life. Those are the adult diaper wearing years, you can have them and I can keep SMOKING!
Cigs are a great stress reliever and while I made some arguements FOR smoking, my advice is DO NOT START!
I started by only smoking while drinking.....now I am a chain smoker. So think about it those people who say I only smoke when I drink!

Tried to develop the habit when I was a sophomore in high school back in 1962-63. Sure, there were ads on the walls in the main building preaching the vices from smoking habits, which cancers would be promoted from within, as well as other projected social ills, real and imaginary, we would be perpetrating upon ourselves starting this habit. Those admonishments, PSA TV ads, as well as coaxing to quit from the teachers fell on deaf ears as far as I was concerned. Just another bunch of blather from authority figures and do-gooders trying to interfere and reek havoc with the lives of kids and their peers. In defiance of all these flag wavers I chose smoking, or at least tried to.
The main motivator that got me to quit was my wallet and inability to say "No!" One of the key ingredients in becoming a cheap bastard later in life is to know thyself inside as well as out. I, like a my lot of high school friends and acquaintances, did not possess the means to be prolific dispensing gifts, coinage to just anyone in the halls or classrooms that needed my financial or material help supporting their habit(s). But after experiencing the loss of perceived pleasure by getting to smoke only 14% of 3 consecutive packs of Marlboro cigarettes while gifting the remainder to strangers begging or politely asking "hey, man, gotta smoke?" I took action. I quit the habit dead in its tracks.

I smoked when I was a rebellious teenager, but it was a stupid thing to do. If I'm stressed or socially around other smokers it can be hard to resist. However, I'm a bit of a health nut, so I just list a bunch of reasons in my head how it will make me feel worse and that helps resist
