I mean just look at CR and the wealth of females that watch anime here. Sorry to hear that about your meeting with those gals and what happen after that bud. Thats the second reason why i decided to join CR because i could chat with like minded folks male and females. I miss this year ComicCon my brother went and said he met some CR members. The reason why i kept bumping this is to meet more folks and i hope one day in one of those Con's I could meet face to face and talk to those folks. It's all good man, sometimes you find some great people and sometimes you don't. It doesn't matter what the hobby is, there's always those that are terrible human beings and those that are awesome. I for the same reason as you came to CR in hopes of socializing a bit more with people of the same interests. CR had it's lows and is still growing every day so I'm sure that one day you'll be able to meet face to face with plenty of CR's members. Couldn't agree more with you bud sometimes you find the worse people that like your hobby. For me one of my favorite past time is Baseball and sometimes you meet great people that support or are your rival fans and yet you get along and there are sometimes you wish to strangle your own fan base or the opposition. Yep, competitive sports brings out the worst in people sometimes. Regarding your other response too; I understand how you feel about "Say I love You" because I absolutely loved it, but I'm sure none of my male friends are going to want to talk to me about it. So it's always nice to have a few female friends interested in anime so that you can chit chat about the romantic animes without feeling like.. My friend you are one wise guy for your age. Also nice you use a picture of one of my new favorite anime(my little monster)is Chizuru. Also that fit to a t . Hey let me just say it. Im a die hard Red Sox fan living in NYC(the Bronx to be exact) haven't had a fight or anything because folks have calm down since 2004 but before that man it was like somebody was challenging you manhood day by day. Thank you, I appreciate it. (I really enjoyed it too; another anime that would be rather hard to talk about with other males) I could only imagine what it would be like to be a Red Sox fan in the Bronx. I had it easy with hockey, everyone would fight but after the game we were friends lol. I'll stop now, we're getting too off topic. |

I understand girls don't do this, i mean I don't either. But I'm wondering if you ladies throw out clues? For instance, would you walk around town with a keychain of your favorite anime character? I personally have a lot of anime accessories, NERV stickers on my phone, NERV keychains, etc.. I usually look at girl's phones to try to get a sense of character, but I rarely see them using anything besides Rikkulama/Hello Kitty if it's anywhere close to anime. |

I'm just like a regular girl but with an interest in anime. I mean I do own manga and anime dvd's at home but I never go around town with anime accessories nor do I bring it up in conversations with people. But if someone asks me if I watch anime I would happily go off into a long drawn out conversation with them about anime. All people need to do these days is just ask. Not sure if my sentences are coherent. It is getting pretty late |

Not sure if my sentences are coherent. It is getting pretty late They are coherent, definitely written well enough to understand. I see, well I hope more girls start to embrace Anime a bit more and show their love for it the same way they would for designer brands, sports teams, or HK even.. I see a lot of Hello Kitty stickers on girls cars, or accessories in general, and then ask them if they watch anime and it's usually "No, I watch pretty little liars though" or some other show along those lines. |

It would be a little hard and possibly borderline stalker to try and look at your wallpaper/apps on your phone just to find some clues. If I saw a girl with a Spike shirt I would definitely feel inclined to talk to her. I guess we'll just have to keep running in blindly and ask every girl we run into if they watch anime or not haha. Well guys, maybe that's the new ice breaker line. "Hi, I'm sorry to bother you but do you watch anime?" ... good luck men. @ Eddy120876 Huge Ducks fan personally, ever since I played hockey since 5. I enjoyed Toradora to an extent but I'm not huge on the whole tsundre thing. But I definitely don't talk to my co-workers about Toradora, it's usually about SAO or some other animes with more testosterone. |

It's weird that I personally don't have any anime t-shirts or clothing but I have a lot of accessories that kind of throw out hints. Everyone should go out and buy a t-shirt from their favorite anime and rock it once a week to see what kind of responses they get, if any. |
