you go to a convention see all the cosplays

put on your glasses that filters out dudes and you'd be suprised that a lot are girls

I have nerdy female friends who like comics, dr. who, that kind of stuff but not anime. It's fairly uncommon, or nobody in my circle of friends just wants to admit they watch anime regularly; including me.

I do visit the cosplayers but im talking about outside of conventions. Since you know theres not convention all the time

otaku girls are MAD SKETCH, from my experience.

A lot of them expect you to look like a dude from an anime, first of all. . . . and even if you do look like one, they're likely to burn you.


That dream of meeting a girl who likes the same stuff as you, we all have it, but that's all it is, a dream.
It's not all it's cracked up to be in real life at all.

It's weird that you don't know girls that like anime, because it's female dominated fandom these days, eh?

I understand and agree with your about the super Otaku girls way of thinking bud. The fandom of women well thats another thing since you only get to meet then at conventions.

Where I live, i have actually met more girls than guys that are into anime.

Like some others who have posted, I love anime, but don't really talk about it out in public a lot, unless I'm already pretty good friends with you. Since most of my friends aren't anime fans, they don't understand what I'm talking about when I talk about anime. Normally I stick to common ground topics.

Well the reason why most of us don't tell the world we love anime is usually because we are afraid to be excluded by society and our friend that are not into anime. I do agree we need to stick to common ground topics but a bit of showing our love is not that bad as long as our friends are true friends.
