Okay if you were with some one you cared for and they cheated on you, and lets say it would not happen again. Would you want to know about it or go on being happy? What if you guys broke up would it be better to know that she/he cheated and left you for someone else, or would it be better not to know? dos your veiw change if you with that person who cheated,to if you were to brake up? in that case would it be better not to get hurt more?

Ignorance can be bliss, but generally I would rather know the unfortunate truth.

Yes, I'd rather know as soon as possible, so that I can decide whether the relationship is still worth pursuing. Finding out long after the fact doesn't do much good, however.

Dumb question. Do you fear the knowing of the truth OP? Even though the truth can suck, its better to know fact from fiction than live your life a lie.

I'd rather know so I don't waste any more money on them. Man...that makes me sound like I just love money...it's honestly just a little fling. I swear.

Duh. What fool would rather be unaware of their partner being unfaithful to them?

Yeah it's better to just tell the truth. Honesty is the best way to go, plus if the other person finds out it makes the situation alot worse since you didn't tell them yourself.

In a way ignorance could be the best option... Yet in a way it could be the worst too. I can't myself decide which option would be better than the other.

In most ways that count (trust being broken, STIs, possible pregnancy, etc.) it's probably better to be aware of the facts, and the sooner the better. Because the longer it goes on without being made known, it can cause the person being cheated on to be hurt far worse, and they might even lose a great deal of self respect. Asking yourself questions like, "Why didn't I see the signs?" and so on after the fact. I can speak from personal experience on this one.
