If you do decide to take a trip down, head to Traverse City in the early summer (before the "Cherry Festival"). It's beautiful. Gorgeous shorelines, sand dunes, and golf (if you're into it). If you want culture and fun, swing lower to Ann Arbor in the Fall when college is just kicking in. Great small venue concerts and bars. If you're into urban decay, swing down to East Detroit (don't go alone).

Everything in between is just a strip mall or a statue of a large trout.

Okay if you were with some one you cared for and they cheated on you, and lets say it would not happen again. Would you want to know about it or go on being happy? What if you guys broke up would it be better to know that she/he cheated and left you for someone else, or would it be better not to know? dos your veiw change if you with that person who cheated,to if you were to brake up? in that case would it be better not to get hurt more?

Want to know: definitively yes. Need to cut all ties and contact with a woman that doesn't respect our relationship. Has happened in the past, and I have cut ties with said lady and anyone that tried to bring us back together.

I think it depended... if anyone OTHER than her and the guy knew... and it had happened more than once, I'd want to know.

If it was a one-time thing, nobody knew, it never happened again, and she had beaten herself up over it and decided it was the kind of thing she didn't want to do again, I think I'd rather not know...

Even though I've sworn off of relationships, I would rather know so I can plan my revenge.

its better to know the truth than hide it, even though the truth hurts its better to have closure than being ignorant or in denial. won't be good to both parties. the truth is better when it comes to this situation. relationship requires "co-op" without it, its not really a relationship.

OP's example says that she'he will never cheat again. So nope, I would rather remain ignorant. Your attempt to show off your morals cause you to overlook an important detail in the scenario. Let's not be hypocrites and pretend that we don't lie in order to make a situation a little bit better for ourselves from time to time.
