Hey guys i just read a comment thread about magi episode 24 and is it true that the anime has already started to diverge away from the manga?

From what I've read of the characters on Magi Wiki (yeah, not reliable), but I don't think the series is going like it was originally intended, because I thought Kasim was supposed to be psychically imprinted on alibaba and that doesn't seem to be in the anime. I haven't read the manga but this was in the description for Alibaba.

I say Pass, I was skeptical at first. I had seen the chibi art, and I personally think that chibi is a last ditch effort for attention....Well getting past that I powered a few episodes and I recently caught up the most recent episode...

I can honestly say that a lot of things in the show are cliche and almost idiotic....I'll just say Cassim (Probably spelled wrong) but anyone who's watched it to that point would get how idiotic it is for him to do a 180 despite the "explanation" behind it.

I laughed the whole way through the Sinbad Princess Defiling saga that was a single episode, and I enjoy the love the characters share. It's easily become one of my top animes I've watched in the past few months...and I hope it progresses to be even better looking and performing.
