Paranoia and Gun Control
Posted 12/25/12 , edited 12/25/12
So we've seen the craze of firearm purchases in the United States. We've known the American people to have a strong tradition of firearm use. Whether it leads to crime or responsibility, not everyone will agree with the general populace of a nation being armed. Some will condemn firearms as evil, though there is no evil except evil humans and their evil deeds. You don't blame misspelled words on a pencil, but if you did, then pencils ere evil, and should be banned from production and possession.

I don't think assault weapons will be banned. I do think there will likely be tighter regulations. Psychological screenings. Whatever it takes to help keep weaponry out of wrong-minded people's hands. There could also be the factor of illegally obtained firearms from outside the United States becoming more widespread and concentrated. Smuggling to fulfill the fad of the next Joe or Jane wanting one of those iconic assault thingies. In that case, stupid people with no education on the sophistication of weaponry (and there is a great deal) should be allowed to touch a armament. That would be handed over to the permit holders. The armed service. The responsible and disciplined.

I say paranoia, because of all the irrational and unrealistic fear surrounding people of all kinds in demand of something to defend themselves with and to conform to a sudden and insane social phenomenon of every American that can legally, and likely pridefully, own a gun.

Do zombies play into this? Not the brain eating, supernatural kinds, but the kind who are very much alive, and mostly normal, but have little to define themselves in the manner of individuality with very unique expression? Is there no Joe or Jane with the independent thought outside the corporate schemes of total control where they can exact it so proficiently through buying people off with shiny material goods, in this case; sporterized versions of military firearms? It can hold more than a few bullets and shoots every time I pull this trigger! Look what I have! I can be socially accepted for this!

No, you can be the next John or Kelly with an object you hardly comprehend just to take it and store it under your roof with all the other items that serve little purpose. The family assault rifle will be taken out once in a blue moon for some plinking at a local gun range, while most likely never seeing a situation where you need to have an equalizer to keep some mentally disturbed person from opening fire on a school. The controls will be in place, the populace of America will have its precious firearms, the enormous holiday and post-holiday sales of firearms will calm down, and the different kinds of people who speak for or against firearms will move on to harp about some other serious issue.

America will be further controlled, not disarmed, and The Second Amendment won't be violated, rendering the paranoia over gun control inflated into mandatory government disarming of civilians and incidents of violence in schools as completely absurd.

Oh, look. A typical fucking troll. You couldn't comprehend my OP because 1) you aren't intelligent enough. 2) you shouldn't be allowed to use a computer due to said lack of intelligence.

Next, you have posted off topic and will be reported for it.

Lastly, you are one of the ugliest people I have ever seen based on your photo. A child molesting perverted freak on meth amphetamines and crack that could do well to hide itself from the world's view. Suicide would be a good option for you, also. So be sure to do carry that task out for the benefit of the human race.
