Never been a big fan of TCM. Couldn't stand the remake, and outside of the last 20 minutes of the original didn't care much for the it . I think those last 20 minutes are amazing.

I never get tired of watching the original Halloween movie.

I have to agree with this.

I also recently watched the Grudge the other day and enjoyed it, though my friends were making it out to be much worse than it was.

My favorite franchise collectively HAS to be the Final Destination series, and the third is my favorite film basically ever.

However, I recognize that it's not really OBJECTIVELY that good. ;p So here's some more that are favorites, haha.

- [REC] 1 and 2
- Cabin in the Woods--It's new, yeah, but has a wonderful wit that I think will make it a classic years down the line. c:
- Trick 'r Treat
- Ginger Snaps
- Suicide Club--I get something new out of this one every viewing!
- The entire Evil Dead franchise. Yes, the 2013 installment too.
- Ring [Japanese original] as well as The Ring [American remake, and to this day one of the only remakes I LOVE in its own right. perfect mixture of changing stuff up but keeping the original tone and feeling.]
- Grindhouse
- A Tale of Two Sisters
- The Eye [HK original, please. c:]
- Audition
- High Tension
- Martyrs
- Nosferatu
- The Midnight Meat Train
- My Little Eye---an outlier, I know, but for what it's worth I LOVED the idea and execution of this one.
- The Exorcist

And then there's the movies that aren't ENTIRELY horror but have horror THEMES, like....You know, Battle Royale, An American Crime, Hard Candy....One's more of an action movie and the latter two could be considered dramas, but I still think they involve enough extreme/horrific subject matter to get a nod or two. c:
