Even though I'm so not into horror movies, most people will classify these in this genre, so I guess I'd have to put them in it as well...

Psycho (1-4)

Other include...

Daughter of Darkness ( "made for TV" horror movie with Anthony Perkins in it)

Fright Night (2011 version)

way too many to have 1 fav horror film but i guess because halloween is like 3 days away i can drop a short list of some of my past fav that are great to watch around this time of year.
Trick 'r treat (love this movie, the 4 tales that weave into the same movie are great,a must for halloween)
drag me to hell (one of my all time fav's, not as scary as some of the otherrs on this list but still epic, imo)
halloween (any halloween film will do as long as it's withing the first 4 films, the others are kinda stale, the remakes work too)
fright night (the first and only fright night, don't bother with the remakes, this is the film you want to rent/watch)
sleepy hallow(has a great feel for the night/halloween and it's a great burton flick)
lost boys (the original film, this one is just a great film that should be watched regardless of the occation)
nightmare on elm st(i love this series but the first one is the best for the holiday, the other films tend to get a bit wacky but are still great too)
salems lot (another great vampire flick, ntm a S.K. book as well)
the excorsist (classic, this one is a must watch late night)
there are a bunch more that i could post here but just don't have the time to name them all, what ever you end up watching on halloween make sure the lights are out and the dorrs are locked

My favorite horror movie without a doubt is the original Halloween. The music, Michael Myers, and the overall atmosphere is just scary and amazing.
Also some other personal favorites
RoseMary's Baby
Freaks
The Bay
the descent
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)

I just love movies in general.
