Things you believed as a child?

Spaniards are bullies :p (Philippines was a colony of the Spanish [and the friars are abusive... so...])

If you do random things, you are special and will have fun in life.

You should tell everything to your parents (except your hobby) <- I believed this up to now.

Eating junk food will save you money and nothing bad will happen since one is still young.

Spanish/Latin sucks and I don't need it (due to certain books that put the Spanish friars in a bad light).

Later I learned it was the people who didn't 'preach' tolerance but actually performed it who were tolerant. Also I was pretty smart as a child, so while I never believed in Santa I did believe in the good nature of man. Now I know Santa is closer to being real then good nature in men. At least he's advertized, everywhere and has 20k people dressed as him around Christmas minimum.

If I touched my nose or ears too much, they'll grow to be huge. The White Lady and "Little People" (Some scary stories my family would tell me about.) For some reason, I always believed waves were made by the breath of a whale that was close by, thus I was always expecting to see a giant whale jumping somewhere. No idea how I came up with that though
