My parents called me lizzy when I was little (from my middle name Elizabeth) but I thought it was from lizard and some how was confused about my middle name for a while.

When I was in first grade I over heard my teacher talking about how her contact fell out and she had to go to the eye doctor and get a new one. I didn't know what a contact was and thought it was part of your eye, so I was all freaked out that part of my eye was going to fall out at any moment.

I was really into X-Man comics when I was little and loved the old Saturday morning cartoon, around the same time Star Trek: The Next Generation was on and I some how got it into my head that Captain Jean-Luc Picard (played by Patrick Stewart) was a real life Xavier (they looked so much alike!) It was strange because I knew they weren't really the same person but I still thought they where... Needless to say I was really happy when Patrick Stewart was cast as Xavier in the X-Man movies.

That is all I can think of right know there was probably more.

That a nickname was my real name. Once I learned what my real name was, I had trouble spelling it as well as saying it.

My parents told me that a purple streak would appear on my tongue when I lied, so when I said something they didn't believe they would make me show the bottom part of my tongue. So when I lied they knew I wouldn't show my tongue. I was told by my sister that that was my vein. At first I didn't believe her XD i was all "nuh-uh! They wouldnt lie to me *le pout* " So I fibbed then showed my tongue and they believed me. That was the day I ended up almost going into a bar. XD I was a troublesome kid :3

Lol, Nope. Just damages your eye lens if you aren't wearing protective eye gear. The UV rays from directly staring at the sun over a long period of time can cause invasive tissue growth, cataracts, or blindness.

In elementary school a boy made me believe that if you flush a school toilet the water will come out and splash your clothes. For many years I never went to the school bathrooms- scared that the toilet water will come alive.

My friend at school also made me believe that boys also had periods. I believed that until I was fourteen and Science taught me the truth.

Also my cousin had me believing that marrying dogs was legal. For many years I had a crush on my grandma's chihuahua. I even had the wedding date planned.

I never believed in the usual things, like santa or the tooth fairy.
I did believe that if you ate watermelon seeds, the watermelon would grow inside you during the summer.

That good things happen to good people and bad things happen to bad people... such bullshit!

I also believed I was born in May, but I was actually born in June. Do to my family's religion (at the time) which doesn't let you celebrate your birthday or almost any other holidays for that matter. I totally got jipped as a kid!

Oh, May is my middle name, so I thought my parents picked it cause that was the month I was born. No one actually told me my birthday till I was 10yrs.old.

My parents would tell me to put my seatbelt on whenever cops were around (as a kid, i didn't put my seatbelt on cuz i was a rebel) and she would say that they had some kind of xray vision that could see if we were wearing our seatbelt or not.
