100 pushups. A perfect split. 30 new recipes mastered. 10,000 posts on CR. also, 10 behind the back clap pushups. (ive hurt my face so many time by doing that.) Yours? Edit: Because I know there will be many duplicate threads on this subject I have temporarily made it a sticky thread. -alexwithcandy |

I already have a lengthy to-do list for 2013, but my goal for the new year is to be able to run again. I haven't been able to run since my accident back in October 2011. It should be interesting running again w/ all the metal in my leg
...unless I have it all removed. |

Did you have to rehabilitate that leg slowly. |

Did you have to rehabilitate that leg slowly. Nah, I'm not in the military. I'm considering joining so they can pay for my grad school but we'll see. I know if they do accept me I'd have to have my metal removed (or at least thats what the health care recruiter dude told me). But nah, that wasn't the cause. I'd post the reason online but I'm still going through some legal stuff, so I'd rather play it safe. I did physical therapy for about 4 months and I've been doing pool therapy for 5 months now. I've also been working out on my own, at home, using a stationary bike plus my other workouts. I'd be lying if I said I'm close to being back to 100%, but I'm slowly improving. Staying positive is definitely the key |

I don't really like having new years goals, you put too much pressure on yourself, if you fail it's like you just screwed up the whole year :p
On the other hand they can be a great motivation if you think that way ;) That's why I only have a new years goal if it's something extreme! like fav_blasian_girl's, now that's a great one, and I really hope that works out for you! ^_^ |
