an easy debatable subject is what is the definition of a soul? is it simply just our mind that is in our awareness of self and awareness of our existence, or is a soul a spirit. are we energy that transcends time. is our mind made up of energy if so than would it not suggest that we can surpass the wall of death. Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another. So would it suggest we can change in this universe, our brains energy. In saying dos energy have blueprints or memorys of its previous form. Is this wishful thinking or can science prove the essence of a soul is spirit and not just mind. why are we do we have awareness of our own existence and why do we intelligence rather than be a animal, would that not prove to be a better survival tool of evolution to be less intelligent with more animal instincts?

The spirit is supposed to be an internal, supernatural force. You might also just call it a particular mood. An ambition.

first you have the mind - which gives awareness of self, everything that is freedom of thought/choice.

Second is the heart - which most will agree gives you the ability to love. It also allows for compassion, sympathy, empathy. Hate is shared with the mind

Third is the Soul - which most agree is the essence of who you are/were as well as the spark of life..
In order for this to represent the person you are/were It is my belief that all three need to be in the Soul

Do you know how a computer works? electricity. 0's and 1's that interconnects every parts to create a system.
I think the human body is the same, the brain controls everything via electric signals.... so about soul and all that stuff...hmmm I don't think it's real, everything is in the brain and combined with everything else : liver, heart,etc. creates our system.

You forgot about the second law of thermodynamics which states that any energy that is transferred will always loose a tiny amount to uselessness. The energy isn't lost it just can't be used. If our body does possess a soul of some kind that is energy then it must be continually replenished by the food we eat and fluids we drink. Once our body is no longer able to replenish that energy (death) then it will gradually be lost to uselessness until it is indistinguishable from the background energy of our environment. This is what happens with all energy s I see no reason to believe that our spirit or soul would be any different.

As for intelligence we don't even have a standardized definition of what what intelligence is so answering your final question would be all but impossible until we do.

I have read the paper spouting the comparison of the human mind to a computer and it is sound.
The paper I read had one more element that you failed to cover, EMOTIONS! A generally unpredictable element not found in computers. And then there is the ability to learn and surpass the original parameters.
